Historic Racing Miniatures did a beautiful 1/24 scale resin full kit, but they're expensive if you can find one. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/historic-racing-miniatures-hrm103-cheetah--1112077 I recently bought a Cox 1/24 slotcar to convert to a static model, but it'll need a scratchbuilt frame, and a lot of kitbashing. The Cox body is rumored to have been the basis for the body in the HRM kit, but I can't confirm or refute this.

Hard one. To me it would probably depend on the guy's history, other "legal" issues, whether he's had similar priors, etc. Trying to determine if he's a one-and-done kind of moron, or a habitual irresponsible violator making a string of bad decisions that cause harm to others is a tough call. Past behavior is very often...but not always...an accurate predictor of future behavior.

Of course, one problem with shooting drones is if they're camera-equipped and their streaming imagery is being recorded remotely, it wouldn't take long for law enforcement to find the shooter. Theoretically...

Same thing's happened here, and is beginning to take over the place I'm in out in AZ. The county I'm in here in GA was mostly farms when I arrived. 5 minutes, you were out of town and into sparsely traveled but well maintained rural roads, real sports car country. Now it takes two hours to get out of the urban sprawl, and driving anything interesting is just begging to have some texting moron or uninsured newcomer destroy it...as has happened to several folks I know. Too many stupid people ruin everything.
