The body skins are ready for this one, but i suspect there's not enough interest to justify casting it. It's a backdate to the non-supercharged version of this kit, recently reissued. -

The manifold on the real Munster Coach was partly fake, just for looks. Barris, you know? If you can score a Weber downdraft manifold for a 289, you're halfway there to do mechanical Hilborn-style FI. I believe I've seen an injected little Ford in somebody's Cobra build on here recently, too. EDIT: You know, I have the Munster kit around here somewhere. Let me look at that manifold and get back to you.

The Studebreaker 232 / 259 / 289 / 304 is physically a little bigger outside than a SBC, wider through the heads. Also heavier. There actually are aftermarket bits for them, but it's kinda a semi-orphan like the Y-block. You're right about it being cheap too. They're STILL cheap. -

The Chevy inline 6 was popular as hot-rod material. There are a couple of different trick heads and intake-exhaust setups in the AMT '51 Chevy kits Jantrix mentions, and a Wayne head and manifold in the Galaxie '48 Chevy kits. -

Speaking of Y-blocks...this is probably one of the rarest of rare speed-equipment setups in the history of the universe. It's a Hilborn mechanical fuel-injection rig made specifically for the oddly ported Y-block. -

The alloy-block Chebby LS engine has been in production since 1997. Multiple displacements (4.8 liter up to 7 liter) and configurations, bolts in pretty much any hole the old smallblock will go in. Same bellhousing bolt pattern (minus one bolt hole). -
I wouldn't be at all surprised to find someone within the IRS who has access to a database of people who have had "issues" has sold contact info too. Lot easier to put a scare into folks who have had a little problem in the past, and people are terrified of the IRS in general.

You can just google whatever number comes in on your caller-ID and be directed to multiple sites that log complaints, too.

The Y-block Ford is very unusual and can make some pretty serious power these days. It's available in the Revell '57 Ford kits and elsewhere. The odd stacked intake-port configuration of the original heads made the engine not-too-popular for high-output applications in the dim past, and speed equipment wasn't plentiful. Still, blown engines made credible power...like the Paxton-blown rig optional in the '57 Fords. The wheels are too small diameter to be a real period car, so I image-searched "looks like Bugatti Atlantic" and it came up about 3/4 down the page. There are a couple other recent cars inspired by the Atlantic that I think got the proportions a little better though. -
