Back-slapping, glad-handing used car salesmen don't inspire confidence in anyone but gullible fools.

It doesn't even look like butter, and it tastes like wheel bearing grease.

Sentence a particular kind of criminal with an all-expense-paid trip through a wood chipper, but only if the evidence of guilt is absolutely overwhelming and incontrovertible.

I had to laugh when UPS wanted to charge me extra to drop a shipment at one of their stores after the online tracker repeatedly said my address didn't exist...and the silence that followed the rest of the phone conversation when I told the nice lady in India that UPS had repeatedly delivered to the "nonexistent" address over the last 10 years, which she was able to verify from her terminal You couldn't make this stuff up. "Smart systems" and AI are really pretty useless when it comes to thinking at all out of the box, just like most humans.

Traffic jams are aggravated by the fools who leave two car lengths between their vehicle and the one in front of 'em.

Reality is anathema to a large segment of the population....and those who insist on it are called mean, prideful, and every kind of -ist in the book. -
"Warp" is a problem facing buyers of old models, particularly acetate promos, that is difficult if not impossible to fix. (not my image, though copied from MCM)

Outside, my two fearless feral watchcats run to greet me when I get home, but my indoor cat usually sleeps through the event.

Lions and tigers and bears don't prey on the general populace much these days, but they could do some valuable herd thinning if they still did.

Man...somehow I missed this one. Very cool. Love that injection setup.

Sad has been my deep emotional state since 1970, but I try not to go there too much.

I build custom harnesses, and install, adapt, modify, and augment generics like Painless and American Autowire, retrofit late-model engine harnesses, or standalones for swaps, and integrate hardware and ECMs that were never intended to work together. It's not cheap, but it's not rocket science either. I've been at it since I was 18.

Strange Brew

Miller in the little pony bottles iced down to hurting-cold used to be the absolute best way to start the Friday wind-down after a hot sweaty week. -

On that happy thought, I think I'll think of something else.

Atkinson and Clarkson on cars...

Never having met the man, I have no real idea about how he conducts himself. That said, after reading your comment, I did a little research about the guy, and the general perception on the web is that he's neither arrogant nor a mammalian exhaust port. I'm not finding any references to the incident you refer to either (though I've not done an exhaustive search), and as much as the web loves to rebleat anything negative about anybody, particularly if they disagree with anything said person has ever espoused, I find that curious as well. I'm not arguing with you, as you apparently are stating you actually saw this happen, but are you absolutely certain?
