  1. Hey Corey, This kit looks familiar! It's far beter off in your capable hands. Tripple black is exactly how I woudl have built it. The progress looks good so far. Steve
  2. Hi Simon, I didn't see anywhere in the "rules" that the build had to be a new build, so why not join with a re-build? It would be nice to see more contributions to this CB. Steve
  3. Now that's anal!
  4. Looking forward to it!

REALLY!? The screen name and avitar totally threw me off lol . Sorry, but I couldn't resist. @ 70mach1:Nice build and excellent color choice. What did you use for the shift knob? It's very convincing of the 1:1 shift knob!
  6. Nice idea using the pieces of wood. Can't wait to see more!
  7. Nice work and good build! I can't wait to get one of these kits myself. These are some of the coolest JDM cars that were never offer in N/A in my opinion.
  8. Too bad, the title really grabbed my attention . Hopefully you can get the pics uploaded soon. Good luck, Steve
  9. Nice work! It's not easy to scratch build all of those custom parts. You sure nailed the look.
  10. VERY unusual for a dirt track car lol. @sflam123: You should throw some mud on this puppy to get that race worn loook. Nice build all the same. Steve
  11. Nice work. I can't get enough of this generation of Civic. Say, aren't those Skyline wheels on the HB?
  12. Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I'm kinda surprised that the opinions are almost as split as my parts box options lol. My intent for this CB project was for a reasonable stock Civic with mild mmods. That is why I built this kit as Left hand drive and stock height suspension. The only things left to do is add the wheels and glass. Sorry to disapoint some of you looking for the "slammed" look, but maybe my next Honda build . I was leaning towards the Mugen M-5's that I purchased specifically for this build or the Type R wheels (mainly because my daily driver is a Silver Acura with Gunmetal rims ). There's no denying that the box stock "Blades" look good as well. I guess we'll have to see what the final product looks like .
  13. Thanks! This was my second attempt at adding extra detail to a box stock kit. The decal issue really put me off this build, even after soucing replacement decals. Who knows, I may revive this build some time in the future or just trade what I have started. Only time will tell. Steve
  14. Very true. Swapping over to 5-lug opens up more opportunities for wheel/tire combos.
  15. 1:24
  16. I'm doing one last mcok-up of my build for Cranky's "Naked" CB, and I need you help! Help me decide which wheels look the best. Here are the choices: 1. Honda Silver 5-spokes (a.k.a. "Blades") 2. Silver Mugen 5-spokes 3. Chrome Mugen M-5's (a.k.a. "Spider Webs") 4. Gunmetal Acura Integra Type R wheels Thanks for looking, Steve
  17. Hey Dylan, any luck with this build?
  18. Thanks Corey! I guess my previous carrier in the shipping department has finally paid off lol. So far, I've only had a couple of trades with fellow members, but I haven't had a bad experience yet. I would like to add Corey (a.k.a.dimebolt) to the list and anyone else I forgot to mention. Patrick2005 - a stand up guy and a pleaseure to deal with. Added 11/21/12 Steve
  19. Love the Skyline. This would be one bad a@# street car!
  20. Looks pretty good to me.
  21. This is what a Deuce should look like!
  22. Nice touch withe the headlight covers. What did you use to make them?
  23. Very nice! The work is top notch. The driver seems to be out of proportion, but I'm sure he came in the kit that way. You should be proud.
  24. Nice build. I've always liked the livery on this one. The 1:1 used to be stored outside of Planet Hollywood in Niagara Falls. If I recall, the sun's UV rays didn't treat it too kindly over the years and has since been sotred elsewhere.
