Watching this. I built this kit not long after it came out! LOve to see the different changes people make to it to make it more accurate. I made my own fuel tanks also. I even changed the wheels and tire, because the kit set looked just way to big to me. I even put a taller wind deflector on top, but don't remember which other kit it came from! Can't wait to see your version!

I am not an expert on Brockway Trucks! So i need help identifying the model below. When i was a kid our fire company bought this truck from Dale fire co, as pictured. Instead of painting it to match the white & gold colors of our company, they just left it orange and lettered it, calling it the Orange Crush. Would like to build this, but don't know of any conversions for it. Any ideas?

The gauges are from a generic decal sheet i got on ebay, trimmed in small rings used for jewelry from the craft store. The intakes & discharges are tubing with covers from Don mills. The close up pic you sent the quote on is actually of the real truck though!

Thanks Tyler.. I made the decals on the rear.. all the cab decals were done by diecast and decals... They weren't cheap, but he did an amazing job on them.

The Smokey and the Bandit decals are from modeltruckin.com It has all the striping plus the mural!. Thanks for the kind words.. Don't be afraid to post your builds either
