    2 pics for you.. The interior shot is of Tim Richmonds 87 Monte carlo. The engine pic is from a 86 Monte. Both should be very close to what Earnhardt would have run!

    The Mack R685 would be your best starting spot.. Like Anton said you would need to move the steering wheel to a right hander and get another air cleaner for the left side. They are also the tall Australian type.
