Watkins Kenworth 925
EaglePassNative replied to Hmann68's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Looks great! That torsion bar rear suspension is a pain but you did a fine job on it. -
Very nice job on yours. I had a 1:1 butternut yellow one with the black stripes and a black vinal top which I repainted the same color as the box art minus the black stripes but keeping the black vinal top. I received two kits this past week and plan on building my before and after versions.

Very nice work on that Big Horn. It takes skills to work with resin like you did here, especially the windshield work. -

Nice Logger! Now thats the type of log trailer I'm used to seeing in real life. I noticed the decal on the door of the tractor. DeRidder is where I live. -
A Couple of New Masters
EaglePassNative replied to cargostar's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I just received mine from Cargostar today. I ordered it from him Friday just 4 days ago and it arrived quickly and well packed. Let me put in a plug for Dave for who ever has not actually seen his castings in person. This guy knows what he's doing !!! This 9400 day cab is awesome. I also have a Lonestar day cab that he made which is also awesome although I didn't know It was his at the time that I bought it on e-bay. You won't go wrong picking up these castings. They are Great!!!. Now I just need to get busy building. -

I just received 3 of them for 119.97 from GMS Customs. That included shipping. Worked out to exactly 39.99 each. -

Oh, that is very nice! You've got some awesome scratch building skills there Scott. -
Check out "SourKraut’s Model Trucks" . I just bought a hood conversion kit from his web site which includes the hood, headlight buckets, grille, a cab visor, battery box, dash and a few other assorted parts. It was $47.00 plus $12.00 shipping and handling. Here are a couple pics of what it consist of. (It is supposed to have the tapered lower left and right hand side cab extensions but they were not in my kit. His web site photo does show them included but he has not responded to my e-mails regarding the missing parts.)

Thanks for compliment Shawn. I hope to get back into building more often. Time has not been on my side for a few years. I've got so many unbuilt kits, I will never finish them in my lifetime at the pace I build.
