  1. Have any examples of this Spaz Stick stuff .
  2. I've see the Perrys resin 65 Comet in person. Its wasn't all that bad really then ( maybe 10 years or so ago ) On my monitor this one looks ok.
  3. Ok. I have a few old annuals I want to get into this winter and all of them need the chrome replated. I've never had anything like this done before so I am looking for ideas on how to rack them up. The size of racks I am supposed to / allowed to use. The materials the racks are made of . How do you send them . etc etc Once replated how / what do you store them. In baggies, ? in baggies wrapped on tissues ? does it matter. How well does the replated finish hold up to handeling during a build ? Finally , do you use Chrome Tech or Little Motor Car co, , If you have a preference , ,WHY ? I thought about just buying resin replacements. But the ones I purchased for my 58 Bonneville although are nice ,,,,,they just dont fit as nice as the original stryene ones do . So those are just one set I want to have plated. I know I will have to buy some resin parts for a few of these ( wheel covers on a few, tail light lenses on a couple ) But my goal is to keep them as much all original plastic as I can . One the horizon is 1958 , 1959 , 1960, 1961 Ford, 1959 , 60 and 61 Mercury , 1958 , 59, 60 Buicks. As well as 1959 and 1960 Pontiacs. All convertibles . I figure these will hold me over for a few years at the rate I build
  4. I think this one is my favorite build of yours yet( although the 58 Sunliner is pretty close ) Still not 100% sold on the skirts yet though. Part of that is I am a huge fan of black cars,,,especially with red interior . 3 out of the last 4 cars I've done have been black . Great pics btw
  5. Compared to other areas . works on this car. that window had to be a piece of cake. And I just ck'd ,,,and realized this build started in 2011. Really is that right ? I cant wait to see this one finished . Modeling at its best is the only way to describe it ,, now get cracking
  6. As mentioned. No. BUT, Missing Link USED to so maybe ck there
  7. Never seen this kit up close before. I'm not a chevy fan, but it looks like i might have to pick one up ( thanks for that,,,my stash didnt need any help )
  8. Yes. Bumper and grille insert Its an original 1970 Charger promo. when I bought it the chrome was a touch weak on the car . So when ordering other Modelhaus parts,,,,, I just added the chrome for this car, and I just bagged the OE bumpers and grille for later date
  9. I will be tuned in on this one for sure. I started a 62 Dodge last year,,and sadly it hasnt gone any farther than this. And just realized in Feb it'll be a year
  10. Ditto
  11. some people have far far to much free time on there hands
  12. I like it. I built a Cutty Sark MANY MANY MANY years ago.( maybe early 70s ) And I keep thinking I would like to build anoher one someday. Problem is, where and how to store it to keep it clean once finished.
  13. Very nice, Especially the 1st one. Best of all back then the cars were actually painted and not a vinyl wrap
  14. It looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice in black,,,but then I like a black car , especially when it doesnt have a black interior. And btw,,, I woiuld like more info on where you got the decals for battery and the washer fluid bag . Those are a nice touch
  15. I am so going to remember that littel trick . Looks outstanding,,,well done. Now send to me as I dont have a 62 Sunliner ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Yet
  16. A friend of mine is restoring a Morgan, No idea what year it is though . Very simple, but very cool little cars.
  17. Not really 'on the road' so to speak. More like from my driveway to the trailer. 1970 Dodge Dart 340 4spd car. ( now with a 416 stroker . Its looks all stock but trust me,,once on the loud pedal its a far cry from factory stock ) Its a car I did some work on for a client, and we took it back to him Wednesday afternoon.
  18. My hats off to the entire team involved. I will be buying SEVERAL . I have an original issue 61 Bonneville and this will look right at home next to it . ( I want to pick up a 65 Satellite but the wife says I am not allowed to buy anything till after Christmas ) NOW,,,,,, What I really want is the 65 Comet . so chop chop this is my 2 cents worth . BUT IMO, it might be a good idea to send one or several to someone (maybe even several people ) familiar with the subject at hand. Even then the chances of missing something is possibile, its called human error . And kudos to all involved to acting on making revisions even though they be minor
  19. Looking good so far. Like mentioned, its not a high end kit or is it accurate for anything back iin the day . But they do make decent looking display builds for the shelf.
  20. so far so good
  21. About the only thing I dont like is the exposed headlights. I much prefer the clean look of the hidden headlights in a charger. Other wise WOW, thats one baddass machine Nice look that still keeps to the original lines of a 1970 Charger. Love the interior design
  22. Excellant , I'm not a GM guy so that clears up any issues I may have later on. ( on this guys car, the grilles were broken and mostly missing. But I want to do a replica as it would look all done . He just sold the car last month after over 20 years of ownership and he really hated to see it go . )
