  1. no way thats a 1970. The notch in the fender pointed out is for either a 1968 or 1969
  2. I built a Cutty Sark many many many years ago..... Would love to do another one justice someday. Keep it going as you really have my interest.
  3. A lot of the MPC annuals had an under bumper trailer hitch in the kit I might have a couple of them ,,,
  4. Loosk like the only one getting any of my money this years is Moebius
  5. I am similar but different . If its Mopar , I'l build it. Ford is a maybe, probably ,,,,,,chevrolet is doubtful unless its an old drag car. Or ,,,,,,something that really catches my eye Actually I think the only GM builds I have to be replica stock are some old 1958-60 annuals . But summertime is tough for me to get bench time . As I do most of my modeling during winter months ,and for the most parts I look for old annuals to fill the need during warmer weather months
  6. I have a 1970 challenger Se body..bought it years ago and its still in a box...it's not to bad. bought the 1964 Plymouth sedan body last year and am not impressed. ...doubtful I will use it.
  7. Agreed, I'm really surprised no one has done this yet. I guess the Interior is the holdback Same goes for a 58 Chrysler 300 for the 57 kit
  8. my instruction sheet is the exact same as yours. But,,,,,,,,, sounds like you pitched the parts
  9. Looks good,,and very familiar. From the Tim Wellborn collection.
  10. I just ckd my issue of this kit and mine has the air grabber door as well as the box below it Its molded on the same tree as the ft valance in between the tail pipes
  11. Picked one up last night. Breezed thru it this morning.,,,,,,,so far so good. I'll devote more time to it this weekend .
  12. WOW,,,,,, that red roadster is spectacular Now I really want one. Anyone got one to trade
  13. I'm in . I keeping thinking I want one of these kits......but have held off the temptation so far. So what color combo was the original ca?
  14. Short of picking one up at a swap meet where you have to practically give modern kits away ...where are you getting them for $15 ? ANY store near me kits are $20 and up.
  15. Would look pretty good behind a Dodge
  16. Never was a fan of the 55 and earlier big cars. But after building the 55 Chrysler. I may have to get one of these and the converitible
  17. I know everyone says there's not much of a difference But just as an example park a monogram 70 roadrunner next to a johan 1969 or amt 1968 ..and it becomes extremely obvious there's a difference Call me a scale biggot. But I'll stick with all 1.25th scale
  18. There is seller on ebay that does just this. I've bought several of the Hemis out of the Revell dart ,,,for WAY less than I can buy the whole kit
  19. I dont get to this section very much. But after reading thru some of this thread I think I need to stop in here more often. This build is AMAZING. No way would I even consider taking on such a build.,,,,,but I commend you all that have.
  20. I knew I had seen them on there,,but for the life of me couldnt remember who had them
  21. This one is completely unpainted and only had some very minor custom pieces added to it,,as well as the custom hubcaps,,but overall a very nice builder for later on. Yes,,,I have been doing quite a bit of buying lately. But I haven't bought a thing this past week so I feel like I am going into withdrawels . But nuttins poped up I feel like I just have to have
  22. Very nice. But am curious ...how do you do these so quick.? Your knocking them out one right after the other
