  2. I can think of several ...... Oh wait are you taking about the car ?
  3. a quick google search netted the Fiat Altered that it started of as ,,,, was a deep purple,,,my gutt tells me the mustang was the same
  4. The Mr Norms blue and silver car was the Color me Gone car ,,just relettered The Sox and Martin car became the Buckeye and Vernon - Mr 4speed car Charlie Allens 1965 Dodge Sedan Koffels - Maloney Plymouth 1965
  5. Any one I've actually finished...I simply do not have time to even think about sitting at the model bench for past several months As far as one I've opened lately for a look see is the 55 chrysler 300
  6. The Mopar built car is/was a hardtop.
  7. The Sedan shown above started life as a regular 1965 RO Super Stock car as shown,,I don't think it was in this conifiguration for very long. As most pictures I have on it are as a AFX car
  8. Keep in mind this is the sedan,,, aka Paper Tiger II . Which was a shop built car ,, All the Mopar OEM built cars were hardtops
  9. I have an RT/SE in the shop ( real one,) real V code,,, 440 six pack 4 spd car If desired I can get some measurements of the rear window opening
  10. I have a few pictures of the sedan and a few others . But but basically, just like mentioned. they just moved the whole shock tower plate forward and welded in flat sheetmetal where it used to be ( sometimes ) will post what I have later this evening
  11. The style of and where you mount the coil ( or coils ) depends A LOT on the era of build your trying to replicate.
  12. I like it......A lot. I think this kit is a lot better than it gets credit for. This just goes to show how well it can be made to look with just the slightest bit of work . Well done
  13. I see an air cleaner for a single 4 barrel wedge motor,,IMO I doubt 150mph is /was possibile .I could maybe see the tires getting to 150, but how long would they survive at that speed ???? IMO,,,,,, No way that car hit one single tree and damaged that car in the way shown. Something tells me there is more to this story than whats written.
  14. A friend of mine owns one of the former Grotheer cars. It's a white 1971 Hemi cuda. And is the car that Plymouth sent Don as a carrier / supplier of everything required to dress out the body in white used as and also supplied by chrysler that was destined to be used as the actual race car. He has come to know and regard MR Grotheer as a friend and in multiple conversations to the subject. ALL Grotheer race cars were some shade of Blue, white and orange . He will ask about the possibilty to a show car and/or race painted black
  15. Amen,,, Sometimes I wish I didn't have the stash I have now. ( but not enough to give it all away though ) It might give me more incentive to actually build something
  16. Unfortunately, I think I will as well. Although I've received everything I've bought in the past ,,, I would rather not push my luck. Sad part is they have some pretty nice and unusual items no avail anywhere else .
  17. Ok, thats clears it up . I saw all the pics and thought they were supposed to all be the same kit just different decals/ boxes. ( sorry, I don't build dragsters ,,only reason I have the Ramchargers FED is bacause ,,,,,,it's the Ramchargers ) Is the Tommy Ivo and Ramchargers the same kit ?
  18. The decals for the Demon, Not sure how accurate they are for the later Dart http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73212&hl=%2Bbilly+%2Bthe+%2Bkid
  19. http://www.ebay.com/sch/t.m.resin/m.html?item=151353724221&hash=item233d628d3d&pt=Model_Kit_US&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 New Id or something ? definitly all the same product line.
  20. Interesting. Ivo, Ramchargers and All American all show it with a 426 based Hemi The 2 Garlits cars both show it with a 392 based Hemi on the box,,,,what does it actually have in the box ? The only one I have is the Ramchargers car,, and have never opened it to see what engine is actually in the box,,but assume it's a 426 based ?
  21. Not 100% sure . But I think the yellow one that used to be in the Kevin Snodham ( sp ck ) collection in washington state, ( aka ,the former Otis Chandler aka Steven Segal car out of New Jersey ) . is a non billboard car . This is the car the Nash Bridges series car was patterned after I know the winchester grey car when 1st shown didn't have the billboard decal but I see now it does,,which way is correct ? no idea
  22. The billboard question I can't answer. BUT, I am almost certain there were 3 export 1971 Hemi Cuda verts produced. 1 - winchester grey and 2 white cars ONE of the white cars is a rebody using SOME of the original cars drivetrain to get the vin number
  23. 1st one is/was dark blue, red and white. I would almost guarentee it Good friend of mine knows Don well ( actually owns one of his old cars ) I will contact him to confirm 100%
  24. I've got maybe 16-18 of the AMT 1962 Impalas, about 8 Revell Thunderbolts, 14 Lindberg 1964 Dodges. and maybe another 8 of the 64 Plymouths. None of these are all the exact same car. But all are on hand , be them built or unbuilt or somewhere in between . But by reading thru this thread,,I'm an amateur
  25. As far as the little 1/8" long line in the rocker panel missing,,,,I don't really care. I build model cars ,,not million dollar museum pieces If I can look in my display case and see that the finished product looks like the car I am trying to replicate within a reasonable distance ( lets say 3 or 4 feet ) Then all is good with me and I will buy more of said product. As an example ,,,,I just ordered a half dozen of the S+M Cudas btw in hopes the aftermkt will take it and run with it doing multiple decals to replicate different cars. About the only thing I'll do is try my best to correct the hood scoop and make it look a bit more accurate to the 1/1
