  1. It's uglier than sin ,,,but In a sick morbid kind of way I like it. Paint it a different color ( or just lose the flames ) and I would drive the snot out of it
  2. And the people who just walked out right into traffic ,,,,, or the lady just standing in the middle of the raod and the truck with trailer that somehow went around her. 1st I've seen this one and ya gotta wonder just how smart the gene pool is around the world today
  3. what a shame,, they made some nice pieces no one else did. I wish I had picked up the 1967 Plymouth 2 door sedan and the wagon,,and the 1964 Plymouth wagon
  4. I've always thought there were only the 2 cars back then,,,but was doing some browsing today and found pics of 3 different cars AND pics of a rollover. so am curious, did one car get destroyed back then and they replaced it ,,or was there always 3 cars campaigned class #'s i've come up with are #702 , #979 + #980 Anyone able to confirm one way or the other
  5. Sorry, but not a fan of JF products. They're ok for the price I guess . But I would rather pay more for a better product
  6. Excellant info so far. I have got to get started on a few of these
  7. This would be cool on the shelf. I've seen this car in person,,,pictures do not do it justice
  8. I think your nuts,,,,,,,,, in a good way. Keep it going .
  9. Did some looking around at SMBC, they have the rims as well. Thanks all

  11. Thanks , found them,,,,,I just registered over there so I can send a pm
  12. Anyone know if the decals are avail to do this car ? I picked up an AMT 1/25th scale builtup a while back to do this car and now can't find decals to do it
  13. Got another shop project / customer service work in. 1970 Road Runner , real 440 six barrel car. BUT, now powered by 493 cu in , 735 hp ( thats not a typo or a guess either ) six barrel fed big block. I get to redo the clutch and fuel systems .
  14. Looks killer. The 71-73 Mustang body was one of the best looking body styles for the funnycar wars of the day.
  15. When Connie Kalitta still had the car. I would almost bet the chassis didn't change much , if at all from one car to the other. Edit, Looking at the picture I am not 100% sure the chassis shot is the 1971 car( might be the 1969-70 car ) BUT, I thought I had a picture of the Kalitta 1971 car with the body up but it might be on the other PC . so I will keep looking and post it when ( if ) I find it
  16. ChaCha version
  17. Keep in mind the chassis between the Johan Mustang versus the MPC Mustang are very different ( if that matters to you ) Either way the Johan kits build into very nice shelf dispay pieces ( i have several of each )
  18. I have been thinking of something very similar. And am going to keep a close eye on these builds But, have to ask, how about some details on the frame work to get the cab to fit the bed
  19. Real clean builtup but dis-assembled MPC 1971 Duster kit for less than $25 delivered.
  20. This is exactly what I was thinking. I think it's kinda ugly,,but then again see above
  21. I don't think the Tri Y manifolds were ever used in a production car
  22. Thanks for the notes. I was pretty sure of the car and that it was in a model magazine back in the day ,,,just didn't know who wrote or when . I personally would love to do a full detail build of this car. As I think it was one of the best looking cars of the period . But unfortunately I don't have the time or inclination to get that carried away. I already have one built from the Polar Lights kit that I am pretty happy with. Just added a bunch of pics of the restored car I have on file. So maybe someone else can put this article to good use .
  23. I found this online several years ago and NO idea where it got it or if it's even still out there. Either way I tend to right click save just about anything and everything old drag car related. In the past I've seen several wanted posts for this article . So, i just posted it in my fuse webpages to share. Just click on the link and enjoy. If I remember right the article used the Hawaiian AA/FC . If I am wrong someone please let me know. If correct I will add the pictures I have of the restored car .( when I get a few minutes to sparee to upload them all, and I have a bunch) http://home.fuse.net/jallphin/cool-pictures/hawaiian-AAFC/
  24. First ones are max wedge only I don't have any kits with them ,,,but sure would like several sets of they are avail in the afternkt . Lindberg Dodge has headers in it I believe. 2nd ones ,,like mentioned were avail in the Johan 1964 Dodge,, don't think they were avail in the 64 Plymouth kit
