except the interior patterns between 1968 and 1969 share nothing alike

I have an AMT 1955 Nomad kit, and the injected intake manifold and tubes are in it if you need it . I have other plans for the kit I can post pics later if needed. FYI, the tubes come straight up , not angled like in the 1st picture posted

What to do when the love is gone?
gtx6970 replied to freakshow12's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Close the hobby room / shelf / closet up and walk away for a while. Come back to it later,,when ever that is . I've done it many times when I got bored with it. Unless there are some extenuating circumstances for the lack of desire ....... do NOT sell them off you'll regret it ( damhik ) -

MPC Ramchargers 1970 Dart funnycar is stock from firewall rearward MPC LA Dart is stock from firewall forward Takes them both to make a stock bodied 1970 Dart Problem is neither one has the stock window trim around the ft or rear glass so the A pillars are pretty thin ,,,,in addition to the missing vent wing frames

Tom Daniel - Most Famous Kit Designer Ever?
gtx6970 replied to Casey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Anyone know how many of his kits were based on actual cars of the time ? or was the actual car based off of the model kit of the time Cherry Pie or the Red Baron as examples In other words which one came 1st -
isn't that the Hemi car ?

I've been thinking about one of these . Is this as produced?

Yep, Shakers were standard on Hemi Cudas only. Optional on 340, 383, and 440 cars (including six pack) All Hemi Cudas had 15" tires were standard , steel wheels were standard, Rallyes' were optional. F60-15 is Hemi cars only. All others F70-14 was standard with E60-15 as optional tires size ( same wheel options as above ) All Cuda's had the black rear tail light panel with a small 3/8" stainless trim moulding surrounding it Ft rubber bumper was optional and avail sepertately with a chrome rear. Or both ft and rear were avail Not 100% sure on this part , but I think if you ordered ft rubber bumper the exterior mirrors were body color IF the optional sport mirrors were ordered. Otherwise it was just a plain simple chrome mirror on the drivers side only Pretty sure ft road lamps were standard on Cuda regardless of ft bumper chosen

Grilles and shaker bubbles were each painted by there respective venders that supplied said part. I can't say that I've ever heard of a flake size variation for the textured argent so thats a new one on me . Fram supplied the shaker bubble but I don't know who supplied the grille. Wouldn't suprise me on the Mopar guys ( I 'm one of them ) As far as I know the 1970 Cuda shaker was medium argent only,,, with excetion to some very early build FE5 Rallye Red cars were avail with a red bubble. 1971 Shaker cars were supposedly all dark argent bubbles

They came in both the CMG and the Ramchargers kit. I would have to ck but I might have an extra pair

Tim, Actually all I need , is the hood . I made this one to fit the MPC body but it's a tad to wide . And I would rather not trim it down to fit the new Revell body. -

Looking sweet I am stoked about the arrival of this kit and once I get a project off the bench thats been there far to long already I will get going on one of my own. I have a customer who owns a 1/1 Hemi Cuda ( his is an auto) and I want to do a replica of his car. If anyone who has this kit and is NOT going to use the shaker hood out of it, send it my way ( all I need is the hood )
