  1. IMO, the most logical step would be a 1970 Charger. ,,but thats just one mans opinion. And we all know what thats worth
  2. I've got this picture of the car. It does have kind of a candy look to it . I definitly don't think it's plain red , nor do I think it's any kind of metallic.
  3. I have no problem buying old builtups. I've been pretty lucky and most are decent enough to just sit in my case as is. I don't have the heart to take them apart to redo here are a couple
  4. This particular car ( as shown ) was not raced in 1970. I don't think it appeared as a Ramchargers car till either really late 70's or early 80's
  5. I sure hope it does well.( the Mustang and the Corvair ) and they think about poping out the Chevelle at some point.
  6. Change the hood scoop , and I'd drive the snot out of this one . I did some work on an XK140 ( it was a 1957 coupe ) and it was a slug. So I can see adding some punch to get some fun factor
  7. If they do, I'll take a dozen But , nothing avail as far I know I know someone was doing the door panel white stripe ( but can't remember who )
  8. Correct, and I have serious doubts the car ran with that interior in it . That said , finding pics of the car back in the day is tough, when you do a search and 90% of what comes back is this restored car I remember seeing some photos of the car many years ago and ' I think ' it was black ,,but don't hold me to that. almost positive it had aftermkt seats in it .
  9. I thought Amblewagon did the AFX cars ?
  10. How about a little wing ?
  11. Chuck, any idea how well if at all these will fit an MPC bodied kit .? I like it a lot better than the Revell body And I have a few old Barry Setzer builtups to use
  12. I've built a couple of them. It's a pretty simple kit to do . But looks pretty good on the shelf. Like mentioned, the kits were designed back in the mid to late 60's so plan on lots of scratchbuilding if 100% accuracy is your goal Do it and enjoy it,,i did
  13. Today was a very good day. ABout 3 pm today , it moved under it's own power for the 1st time since approx 1994 Cars owner was pumped to say the least . 1970 Challenger Rt/SE 440 six pack 4 speed 4.10 Dana.
  14. There were no interior door or rear trim panels on the car ,,nothing but sheetmetal, and yes it was all Petty Blue. Edit, did some ck'ing and now I am not so sure found some pics of the #41 Plymouth and it has silver sheetemtal over the interior door opening
  15. dittto, no interest no matter how iconic BUT, if we all liked the same thing it would be kinda boring
  16. Turbo Blue as a nice car drives slowly by
  17. Sure wish Missing link would do a 64 Plymouth sedan body to go with said grill hint hint not real happy with the JF body I bought this spring
  18. And it's a nice piece ( fits the Lindberg body btw )
  19. I have a Gold Leaf 1972 Barracuda promo. I've always liked the color I can get a better picture tomorrow if u want , this pic doesn't show the color very well.
  20. A buddy of mine collects Mopar matchbook sets. He has a bunch of them ,,mostly 50's and early sixties books. I collect Mopar dealership promotionals ,,, At least I used to . Prices have skyrocketed and pretty much priced me out of them. But I do have some nice ones
  21. Needs bigger tires
  22. Agreed, Ronnie and Jake King are both gone. Not sure about Dave Christie. I had an opportunity to meet Ronnie, Buddy and Jake King several years back. But gave up waiting in line to do a meet and greet. and walked away,,,big mistake as Jake passed a year or so later
  23. This one, hands down. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42096
