  1. And a 67-69 camaro , and a 1970-73 camaro , and a 1970-74 Challenger , and a 1970-74 Cuda , and so on and so and so on
  2. Good to hear this is being re-issued . This is another kit I did as a kid, so most likely I'll add one to my shelf for later one
  3. This one,,,, mint in the box would pretty much be my holy grail. I used to have one and sold it and REALLY would like to have another one. I do have a builder so ,,and everytime a mint unbuilt pops up, my toy fund is depleted
  4. While doing some straghtening up at the model bench today. I got to thumbing thru the magazine article on this car and realized it ran a 392 Hemi,,,,so much for box stock .....but I am leaning towards a black chassis to replicate the magazine article car. decisions decisions
  5. Well, the Ford hauler that was also sold with the Petty Dart is being re-issued so it's a good chance the 72 Dart is as well
  6. I have a builtup I've thought long and hard about selling it off while the gettin is good,,,,,, I have decent money in it but not an out of this world price though either. My luck is if I sell it, the re-issue would get cancelled.
  7. I think an LA Dart would be your best route to take. the rear wheel wells are already opened up, your going to remove the section of the grile where the park lights are so it doesn't matter if it's a 1970 or a 1972 .The rear bumper would have had aluminum blockoff plates over the light openings, so again it makes no differnce what you start with do a wanted ad for the someone who has or is willing to part out an LA Dart ( I only have 2 of them so it's not going to be me )
  8. The only versions I know of where the Ramchargers Dart funny car and the LA Dart wheelstander. BUT both of them are actually 1970 Darts but wouldn't take much to represent a 1972 Dart for what you want to do .
  9. I bought this one new for this exact build in mind. I've actually looked for another one and all I ever find is the clear bodied car. this is the one and only red tinted kit I've seen (should have bought more when I had the chance I guess) The decals were put on within weeks of opening the box back then and it's just sat on the shelf ever since. But not for much longer.
  10. That is totally freaking awsome. I love it .
  11. I built one of these when it first came out and I don't remember any issues , BUT, that was a long time ago and my menory isn't waht it used to be. might have to give it another try (must resist the urge of another project idea )
  12. In the articles I have on this car it appears oo have been candy apple red at some point and black in others. Just not sure the time frames on when either were ran. The magazine article I have on the car calls it 'all new' and it has a black chassis. But in some pictures I have it's clearly red
  13. How about one of the red tinted clear bodied cars. The chassis thats under this is just for mockups. I plan to build it and do the candy apple red chassis, I have pics of the car with a red chassis and and black chassis , I just think the red version will look better under the clear red body
  14. Cool. maybe do it in a transparent blue color would be different. I have one of the clear red colored Polar lights cars. One of my favorites
  15. I can't say I've ever seen that style bench seat in any 1/1 before
  16. Ok, I'm in. I have this same build to do,,,,,, someday .
  17. Looks like a cammer
  18. Hope you didn't intentionaly do this, but your gun clip/ grip is on backwards
  19. We talked about that. and I have him thinking . We'll see .
  20. I for one sure would be interested in a couple kits to do the bed
  21. I just built one as the beswick car from one of the earlier SD421 version. I like it and will be building another one soon . I have a custom version I bought thinking they were all the same and found out it was custom only ,,,, I'll use it for trade fodder or a parts kit only
  22. It's a picture I grabbed off the net. I do have a stock 1/1 mopar ft timing cover I can get some basic dimensions from if that would work
  23. Good question. Where it's located and especially if it gets hidden behind a water pump hsg, the effort to get any real detail will be moot point. If it goes on a car that uses the bolt on / cam driven fuel pump I think it would be a nice detail to have, but I am biased . So my opinion may not be the one to ask.
  24. I'll have to snap off a few pictures . But my case is about 5' tall, 4' wide with 2 sliding glass doors. It's not 100% dust free but it keeps them reasonably clean. My pop made for me about 5 - 6 years ago . And its full,,,,I need more room and might have to look into these Ikea cases when I get the downstairs family room finished
