  1. Keep'em coming. Surely more have some old builds they just can't take apart to redo. I have a soft spot for the old stuff.
  2. I can only hope they are these
  3. I just got in a couple cans of TS75 to do a 64 Thunderbolt inter color , I was told to do it over a dark grey primer
  4. Sorry, but the bumble bee stripe on a 1/1 - 1968-70 Dodge Charger was a decal not painted on BUT, The bumblebee stripe on a 1970 Challenger as an example WAS painted on and before body color was applied
  5. I can only answer the Mopar side of it as I have yet to start or even open a mustang version. As far as chassis - powertrains ,,, I beleve they are 100% the same thing kit, just different bodies and interior tin work ps, isn't the mustang version a Cammer powerplant ?
  6. That is just to cool. A good friend of mine is a diehard Mopar AND a diehard John Deere guy would just die over this one
  7. A few years ago I bought a bunch of old decals for vintage projects . In this packet are a bunch of partial sheets for military +/or Airplane markings . Of which I have no use for . I pulled out of them want I was after and I can't just pitch the rest. So, I am offering all the plane +/or military vehicle markings decals here. First one to pm me an address gets them for free (sorry guys but do to international postage costs the free deal is lower 48 only )
  8. I remember seeing the Goldenrod a few years back on a show car circuit tour . I looked pretty cool , but wow was it long. And I agree, Unfortunately recreating the driveline / powertrain would be tough in 1/25th scale .
  9. Having met a few of the people who build and compete at this level, I commend them . And , I can assure you . There are probably subtle things on this car ( as in years past winners ) That 99% of the average people will never catch unless you sit and stare at it for hours . Even then I doubt any one person would catch it all. The ONLY thing I don't care for is the screw clamps on the hoses. I just don't think the overall quality of the car goes hand in hand with cheap screw hose clamps . If they were trying to re-create the flavor / style of something old, the rest of the car is WAY to good for that. Overall I like it and would gladly park it in my garage , and I have zero interest in street rods .
  10. Curious, Why do you say incorrect.? the Dodge trucks WERE avail with both a 400 B engine as well as a 440 RB up till approx 1977 ( maybe 1978 )
  11. I have a builtup of the 72-73 long bed truck if anyone wants pictures
  12. I've watched it a couple times and I am simply amazed by it. All of that was done without computer control. Makes me wonder,,,,how?
  13. Ck with Sean aka member Member sstacey47 http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z321/sstacey47/DSC05531.jpg
  14. Missing Link has a 1972 style grille and bumpers (ft and rear ) I just got a set a few weeks back I've seen the decals on ebay a few times But, And I think Slixx now has the decals to do this car as well as Wally Booths 1969 Camaro
  15. For your viewing enjoyment , but what is it ? I am thinking Oldsmobile or Pontiac or ????? http://www.dump.com/assemblyline/
  16. Already thought about the firefighter mustang2, but it's my understanding one is coil over susp and the other is leaf spring , just don't remember which one is which (might still go this way regardless just for simplicity ,,and just not turn it over ) To the op I saw the in process pics and I REALLY want to do this car, only I am leaning more towards the other paint scheme this car ran under.
  17. Ditto , Please ? I've really got on a pre-war classics era kick lately
  18. Sweet, I so want to do one of these. Bad. It's coming up with the chassis seems to be the hard part. I keep thinking about attempting my 1st scratch build to do it. Already have a conversion 72 bumpers and grille
  19. Seen em, and PM replied. Bill
  20. Anyone make them in a quality resin ? I need a few sets and would rather not buy kits to just get the seats( already have a LRW done)
  21. Thats a huge understatement. WOW , thats the best I can come up with.
  22. I'll see what I have on file. - print and digital
  23. Never seen one , probably because thats one ugly car. Not to mention it would take some serious scratch building skills to make one. http://www.imperialclub.com/Articles/TurboFlite/61Turboflite.jpg
  24. All 1955 Chrysler 300's were 331 Hemi with a 2 speed power flite trans . I am going to need an early Hemi for a Funnycar build so I may have to do some comparisions to see which one is best. I have the 55 and 57 chryslers as well as the miss deal car to do some camparisons
