  1. Thats so ugly it needs disposed of asap. pack it up ( carefully ) and send it to me so I can give it a proper burial. jk btw Sad part is these decals are no longer avail unless you find someone who has an unused set avail
  2. http://rmrresin.webs.com/nf125.htm
  3. Cool project. Is the JF body based on an original AMT kit , or is it based on a Polar lights version ? I have a resin 1965 Plymouth afx hardtop coming for a Sox and Martin car ( later)
  4. Anyone have a short hauler kit they've parted out ? I don't need the cab, box or power plant . All I need is the chassis, and running gear/suspension
  5. I have an L700 here so I'll ck it this weekend .Thanks for the idea. But, The more I look at it, the more I think I'll do the Landy truck instead. The grille differences is going to bug me to much to do the Jenkins/Strickler version. For that one I'll get a Modelhaus cab,,,,,,,, down the road. Now just need to figure out how to do the ft fender flares, I'm thinking 1/4 round bent to shape. As always I am open to suggestions. Although,,,,,,, I wouldn't rule out a Hustler Hauler either.
  6. My original intention when I bought the cab was to do the Strickler Jenkins truck Now I am leaning more towards doing some mods to the cab and do a Landy truck for my Landy Hemi Dart As far as the chassis , I don't know yet. I did a test fit with a chassis from the little red extress truck and I think it's to far off. So I am open to ideas - suggestions
  7. A resin Hemi Rat Roaster intake from member Bartster. (nice piece btw ) for an upcoming Rod Shop Charger build.
  8. Everything for this is starting to come together. Just got the 1 ton wheels in last week . Ramp body I've had for a while. Service body I just got in last week . Still undecided which direction to go with it. So I'm looking for ideas. My original intention was to do the Jenkins - Strickler truck they used to pull the 64 Dodge Race car around on a trailer with. But I realized yesterday the grille is wrong for that application. Dodge cab is from RMR , Service bed is from Hendricks Motorsports. Ramp bed is a scratchbuilt piece I bought off Ebay
  9. There is one posted here http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?p=345612
  10. You got 90% (43 right out of 48). The average score is 73%
  11. Lost forever ? I don't think so. I have found stuff I thought I sold or just plain forgot I had and haven't seen it in some case 10 plus years( recent 1971 duster kit as an example) Most recent was I found a baggie with a batch of stock resin grilles for a 1970 Duster,, I knew I bought but had no idea where they were. Want to find something you lost,,,,,,,,buy a replacement then the original just miraclessly just pops up every time.
  12. All the AFX cars were delivered with a crossram , so early on many cars ran with them ( thus the hood scoop ) Also, it would not be out of the question to run short stack injection and still be under the hood scoop
  13. Ok, I've collected most of what I need in resin to bring this project to the for front. It's a 1964 Dodge 1 ton dually and I need a reasonably accurate chassis of it ,,,,,, 2wd btw any ideas whats the best option . I have a couple of the later dodge D100 chassis I may go with if nothing more accurate is avail.
  14. Ok, anyone care to share build tips to do one of these. as in order of assy .fit issues etc etc ? I REALLY want to build one,,,,,and if I can avoid any mistakes or issues before hand might be a good thing
  15. pm me an address and I'll mail you one. I've got a couple of them
  16. SWEEEEEEET ! SOOOOOO much better looking than the batmobile. Same here, I've got one to do someday and every time I get it out to begin,,,the mufti-piece body scares me off and back in the box it goes same goes for the club-de-mer
  17. Pm me an address, I'll send you my 1968 CMG mpc body , that way when your painting yours, you can paint mine right along with it.

  19. This is my understanding as well.
  20. The original MPC kit doesn't have the ridge on thr trunk lid either
  21. Keep teasing me with this kind of quality / detail , and I might have to get one of these to do a Glidden car for myself ( the subject is a tad bit newer than I normally venture )
  22. I really like what you did with this one.. The body lines just scream Virgil Exner and I love it I just did one of these as a ramchargers car and it's probaly one of my favorite builds to date.
  23. quote name="cnaind" post="853064" time="1357741568"] Norseman - need to finish interior, everything else done. As in Chrysler Norseman show car ? if so, I'll take one as soon as it's ready
  24. Eye candy And you can see in some pictures it has the blue tinted glass, and in others it has clear glass, when which was which , I have no idea. I am pretty sure the car restored today has clear glass. ps, I also just noticed some pictures it has a 2 headlight grille and in some it has a 4 headlight grille.
