  1. My main gripe is the ebay feedback system,, 2 words it sucks in the past 3 weeks I had 2 buyers not pay for an item and the only thing I can do is file a non paying bidder I can't leave a negative, I can't even leave a neutral to warn the next seller???? and if you click the user's feedback NOTHING shows the next seller there was ever a problem. Yet, if I do get paid and don't mail said item,, you wanna bet if I get blasted with a negative or not . I sell and buy there, but my selling days are coming to an end. I'll usually only buy what I can't get locally,,,,,, within a reasonable cost / effort on my part . I have one LHS but it's about 20 mintues away and he's not exactly the cheapest to buy from, but I do try to give him at least part of my buying business
  2. Just an fyi, I found out recently using the wifes fiber backed fingernail files makes for great body sanding tools. They come in several sizes and several grits in both flexible and some are fairly rigid . Now I just need to buy the Ms's a new set
  3. I agree , and I already have one MPC 1970 and several 1972-74 versions ( I'm looking for a 1971 challenger builder ) in addition to a few of the AMT 1970 Challenger kits. But the seperate roof and molded in texture hinders my use for old drag car builds . So,,,, I will anxiously wait for this 1970 Cuda kit and will order at least a dozen or so as soon as I can . Then hope it gets converted to a 1971 + 1972-74 later one.
  4. In case anyone needs one and doesn't want to wait for it or take the chance ,,,,,,. I screwed up and ordered 2 of the sheets for the Mickey Thompson 1963 Ford Galaxie Will trade them or ??????
  5. Ok, I thought maybe I'de missed something and had found a source for nice 1/25th scale challenger bodies. ( I prefer to avoid 1/24th scale stuff unless absolutely necessary ) Thanks again
  6. I'll give you ALL your money back for just the 1962 Dodge and 1962 Plymouth, you can keep the rest for free
  7. No words can describe this . Scratchbuilt is an understatement
  8. Interesting. I ordered 6 different decal sheets on Oct 12, and I got all of them this afternoon.
  9. I can appreciate the work involved to build something like these cars. But I have to say the look does nothing for me, IMO, the body style does not lend itself well to the whole wingcar thing
  10. Is the 1/25th marked kit actually a 1/25th scale kit or just a reboxed 1-24th scale body with a different hood ?
  11. Glad to do it, this way some body will use it and not end up in the trash bin
  12. no resin versions of any the above, at least not that I'm that I'm aware of ,,,,,,if there is someone let me know I REALLY want to do a Diamante and Duster 1 The RTS 1970 Roadrunner would not be a real hard one to do, But, the RTS Duster( the green one ) and the RTS 1971 Roadrunner would be a bit tougher to do than one might think. As there are several custom touches that don't pop out unless you really study the cars. I wish my body work skills were up to the task to attempt a master
  13. I use them from time to time . but like mentioned I can usually buy local for about the same price once shipping is added in to the equation
  14. Is the grille and bumper going to be chromed once released for sales ? Would it be possible to get one with NO bed ( I have a ramp bed hauler build in mind ) Might have to get one of these as I've been looking for an earlier Ford pickup to build as a period correct drag car tow vehicle
  15. I'm a diehard Mopar guy, But as an avid vintage drag car fan ,,,,I am so looking forward to this Ford AND the Ford F100 Maybe , just maybe somewhere in the near future we might get a late 50's Desoto or a late 60's Dodge pickup
  16. Although torque boxes 'are supposed to be ' A hemi only thing, it's been well documented they showed up and numerous drivetrain options . So technically they are correct on at least some cars, including 340 cars
  17. I've only used one set. but I was happy enough with them to order more. Are they slixx quality? , imo , No The one set I used had some cracking during the install ,,,but considering some of the subject matter you have no other choice ,,i'm good. I ordered several more sets about a week ago , they haven't shown up yet. but as long as they do in a timely fashion,( 3 to 6 weeks ) and I'm good
  18. Looks good. I want to do one for my shelf, and I'll probably just do the snap kit as well, quick, simple and easy ( may even let my daughter build it )
  19. Owners/drivers name is Rosie Kossuth , out of Texas . Do a googe search under her name and found and some info pops up, Looks like it's a black interior , bucket seats, max wedge car
  20. Anyone know if a plastic , or resin conversion is avail for a 1937 Ford woodie ? It can be 1/25 th or 1/24 th scale
  21. Did you not see this ? remaining in the 'prone' position would NOT be a problem
  22. Pretty cool. I'm sure he had a lot to do during the ascent . ,,,,,,,but I wonder what was going thru his mind on the way up. Because irregardless of the details . Once it left the ground there was only one way back down,,,, good or bad I wonder where the balloon will come back down at, as I'm sure it's being tracked.
  23. One of the nice things about this announcment is, original 1970 Issues will start coming out of the woodwork. Fortunately, I only have the one or two and I'll think I'll just keep them . ( I've got less than the price of a new kit in them anyway)
  24. I just made an order to complete future projects just in case . I don't need any of them asap but want to get them as a just in case , hopefully all goes well
