  1. Ive seen the restored 65 AFX car in person. And I dont remember it having any kind of orange tint to it like Fords Poppy red Its been a while but best I remember and would dare a guess maybe something like Mopar PP1 or R4 or MAYBE R6 red at the darkest . But IMO I would lean more towards the lighter color
  2. gents, if this happens put me down for 2 complete interiors. I have 2 cars
  3. Correct the red interiors in 68 and prior definitely have a pearl look to them ( my 66 is said interior ) Where as 69 red interiors are very much a tomato red that has zero pearl tint to it And Yes, red stripe was avail on pretty much any exterior color, just some may not be ' non recommended' so to speak . As far as a 15" steel wheel with beenie hubcaps was standard on Hemi cars in 1968 but not 100% sure of they were avail non hemi cars unless it was a police car or taxi . SO maybe keep that in mind on power train choice 1968 hemi cars would have F70-15 tires ( same goes for 1969 btw ) the 1969 A12 was G70-15
  4. I vaguely remember reading many years ago the chassis in this car is the same in his 68-69 Nova bodied car
  5. Finish those seats then make a resin copy of the complete interior . I'll take 2 right now please
  6. Steve, the left side of the dash pad should match the right side . its way to thin from this angle
  7. None I know of. I just took an extra kits back seat and made my own
  8. Ive never seen another one built. and only 1 or 2 unbuilt. This is molded in clear red plastic Its the molded in clear versions that can be found occasionally, and even it the Charger is the easier of the 2 to find
  9. Someone told me several years back the tooling for the MPC 71 Roadrunner was damaged and/or no longer viable for use
  10. 1969 dash is thicker all the way across and less pronounced point in the center
  11. 1968 dash is thinner and come to more of a point in the center the actual plastic dash frame in the kit has the correct shape , just not the thickness
  12. I built my clear red AA/FC Cuda kit
  13. I just hope i can build maybe 1 ...or 2 Im having fun with my 1/1 toy to worry much avout model cars I plan to retire this fall...so maybe it will change
  14. Real 300 ? As far as I know. They were only avail in 3 colors, Black, red and white
  15. I REALLY wish you could find someone to duplicate these in resin. I'll take 2 sets NOW
  16. I would just like to be able to delete pictures Ive uploaded here. Some are in threads years old. Most others are in trade threads . Some Ive inadvertently uploaded multiple times. either way its makes it horrible to wade thru to find the one I want. So much I'll avoid uploading pictures here at all costs anymore
  17. And once posted here It cant be deleted by the one who posted it either .
  18. Search ebay. Someone is 3d printing a lot of the old hood and fender ornaments
  19. Them boys got much bigger knads than I ever dreamed of having. But I love to watch it
  20. Same here. I have 3 and in reality. Could easily use 2 more.
  21. I don't think I've bought a model kit in over a year, maybe closer to 2 years now. And in all honesty. I dont have much desire to buy either. Ive actually sold close to or even over 100 kits , both builders and unbuilts. And this trend will most likely continue. My newest garage toy will take my free time for a while Retirement is just under a year away. And I hope to get back into building some models afterwards . But I honestly cant say that I have the drive for them like I did in years passed
