  1. decals on last night. Decals are a mix of Revell 67 GTX and a few smaller sponsor decals off a Slixx sheet Cleared it this morning So far, so good Not perfect. But all good for my shelf, And was growing tired of looking at the box just sitting on the shelf for the last 30 years Not sure which version I like better, Stock hood ,,,Or sixpack hood version
  2. Anyone know the decal? Forward end ft fender. the triangular shaped one Its not on the Slixx sheet for this car Anyone know a decal sheet its on?
  3. Ok, Bring this one back to the bench . I had ,misplaced the hoods and found it last week So, back at it Except for the resin hood I plan on keeping it pretty much an out of the box build. Although might use the deeper rear rims from the SM Cuda Got the stripes on the hoods painted today but they will need some light touchup before I clear them. Plan is use the decals from the Revell 67 GTX
  4. Accurate to the actual car would be dependent on when in the season you are trying to replicate. Wheels changed a lot back then. But.... the ones shown were on it when I bought it several years ago
  5. I was told many years ago by someone who was in the know. The tooling for the MPC 1971 Roadrunner was heavily damaged. And was zero chance this kit was coming back unless they start from scratch. If I were a betting man...the '72 variant is in same boat I have both kits in the stash so I have no skin in the game if it does.....or doesn't .
  6. Ill be following along Curious what you do with this with this I have both 63 and 64 builders. Both verts. One I'm gonna keep The other will be making an exit soon Just not real sure which one
  7. Im not so sure the batteries are in the trunk on 440 cars Hemi cars yes.
  8. Nice build. Its my understanding this car was built as a 4spd and changed to an auto within its first few races. Thus your Carb version and 4 spd is accurate
  9. Sweet, This is one on my short list probably this fall build
  10. Agreed The Revell 1969 is a very nice kit
  11. Well. It doesn't fit my 1960 Dodge built up So if anyone needs this bumper. Pm me
  12. I didn't think there was a 1960 Dodge wagon made It might be resin. Im not 100% sure either way
  13. Trying to figure out the application for this.
  14. Nice. Sure looks the part very well
  15. That kit is unpainted I think( been some time since ive had it in my hands) It really needs redone The Missle Duster is poorly painted flat black. So both will get redone someday...... soon I hope I have slixx decals for them all. When the time comes Apologies for the hijack
  16. Thanks I did a quick basic search this morning and found none..except a few dealer promos Myself prefer a 1965. But only because of the Indy Pace Car version I personally like the 67/68 body style better and have a clean 1968 conv builder . For that sometime down the road build
  17. Thats my quandary Im not 100% happy with it as is But not dissatisfied enough to pull it apart. I bought it with about a half dozen other old MPC pro stock / drag cars builders off ebay about 10-12 years ago. He listed a bunch of builtups. And I bought all the Mopars and the Schartman Comet None are perfect ....most are ......OK The SM duster is the worst. The Comet is the best one
  18. Agreed And I have to ask,, Is a 1966 Fury kit really that hard to come up with ? To justify such a price point for a resin curbside kit ? The subject matter isnt in my wheelhouse so I have no idea .
  19. Slixx does . Or at least did make the decals to replicate that particular car I have a decent shape original built-up here I keep thinking I want to redo someday. Just cant bring myself to pull it apart for such a minimal upgrade
  20. Im pretty sure both the Leal duster and the Vanke duster have all stock interiors I know the Sox - Martin Duster, The Landy Challenger , And I think both the Missle Duster AND Cuda are all gutted race only interiors
  21. Testors White Lightening
  22. Poof, and just like that, Its spoken for Mods can delete this if they chose
