  1. Most recent news i've heard is a June release. (happy birthday to me!) Andy if they didn't expect it to sell they wouldn't be making it. I'll have at least four myself. If it's quality is anywhere near thier Hudson's and '55 Chryslers, it'll sell very well.
  2. Senior moments bad! Senior discount at Golden Corral good!
  3. There was a post a couple months back about saving decals to the computer. It makes me wonder, if there's a resource like the one we use for vintage instructions, that has decals? I recently acquired a 1975 Roadrunner by MPC and would like to replace the decals in the kit.
  4. I'll be 48 this summer. Yes, they change from DUH to "senior moments" at 45. Welcome to the club! I had been building an Aurora Chitty Bang Bang. Full wings splayed, with copter blades mounted and spinnable. I picked up the wings and spread the ol Testors glue across the mounting spars. Placing the model straight and even across them I set it on top of a couple pieces of two-by-four to dry overnight. In the morning there it was. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ready to soar...with the copter blades hanging DOWN UNDER THE WINGS!!! I had mounted the wings upside down!
  5. What a coincidence! I am mainly into British bank robbers cars! Just kiddin Julian, welcome to the forum.
  6. There are also photo-etched nuts, miniature bolts and nuts, all available at R&B Motion. http://www.rbmotion.com/ Anne you gotta be carefull titling these threads.
  7. Here's some snow...and at the perfect distance t00.
  8. I heard the story quite the same as you. My issue is that Barris will steal credit from anyone who doesn't have the stones to stick up for themselves and even some who do. I was really suprised that his most famous creation was pretty much done by everyone else, the Batmobile. A production designer came up with the shape, Bill Cushenbery did the modifications and the prop department added all the doo-dads! David, I love the shade of gold you chose here. VERY close to the original, and the trimwork on the lights sets it off nicely.
  9. Thank you Captain Technical! Oh wait- I'm just as bad ain't I?
  10. http://round2models.com/models/amt follow the link you your '68.
  11. Well then...that's my day started! Who can deny...dancing monkeys are fun!
  12. Based on that statement I talked to Doug at PL. I suggested a "double trouble" type of kit like some of the duo and triple pack kits that have been done. One Dodge, one Plymouth, both with stock or race options, four different engines and of course radical raceway graphics. He said no. Just kidding, they always say they'll consider it. In all my years only a couple times have they listened to me but you never know!
  13. Way cool! (piano rift WOOOOO!)
  14. I don't know if you have to have any agreement with her or not, but i've sent a letter to Ms. Craig about agreeing to a Batgirl figure if you guys are to approach her. (begged her to agree actually!)
  15. Jacen and I had a pretty full page of Harry Potter jokes Harry P. Want me to start crankin'em out? Keep it up smart alec! Or would you just use your forum restorum spell?
  16. Whoops! Thought that was just a link...anyway here you go. I thought mine was under 500 a few days ago too!
  17. I'm watching "The Fifth Element". I have it on disk, but I just happened to roll into this after another movie went off...Hmmm, I guess that really doesn't matter. What matters is, did anyone do a kit? If so in fo. If not, where would you start? Ideas?
