FASTBACK340 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Beautiful day out (except for the GW Bridge….. GRRRR!) met up with MANY friends. Me & Amy made it into the first vendor room about 15 feet and remained there for the next hour crossing paths with everyone I see once a year, or less. Happy see some faces return, sad to hear some faces we'll only remember. Vendor activity was brisk but unfortunately the Holthaus' were a no-show due to the unexpected passing of their son. I'm sure details will surface elsewhere. I managed to spend only the admission and 2 coffees. Didn't. Buy. A. Thing. This may be a first for me. ____________________________________________________________________________ EDIT: How rude of me…. A huge THANK YOU to the Tri-State club for effortlessly running yet another killer NNL. You guys got this down to routine. Good job to all! Anyway, here's a sample of some stuff that caught my attention. Enjoy and share. Edited April 19, 2015 by FASTBACK340
Nitrozilla Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I was THIS close to going, but opted out for a local IPMS Regional. Glad to see Art Laski made it with Stephanie's Rose. Pretty in pink.
spencer1984 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 One of the guys in my build group has worked the show for several years, and every year he tells me I need to go. Glad I finally got a chance to do it this year, there were some awesome kits on display!
FASTBACK340 Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Yeah, there was some really creative builds there. The Gasser class was over-run with Malco Mustangs and Willys, but there were a few clever builds, like 6 cylinder powered `33 Willy's and Hudsons….. I was a bit dis-appointed I couldn't find what I was (specifically ) looking for in the vendor area, but it's always a great day out. Happy to share the pictures.
