oldscool Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Outstanding! Looks so much like a real car that it's not even funny.
thatz4u Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Built in true 50's style, looks like it just came out an early kustom shop, very well done.
Guest Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Beautiful custom Olds Steve!! The chop, body mods and wheel covers are perfect! Your work is over the top!
Jantrix Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Normally, I'm not a big fan of taking early coupes and going for the hardtop look. Most times it looks strange to me. But this one just looks right on. As a custom it works on so many levels. At first I thought it was a 1:1 that might have been done by Sam Barris. Great work. Did you rechrome the shiny bits or is that Alclad? How did you accomplish the side spear with the groove through it?
Lowlife ! ! Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Another great 50s kustom Steve ...... .....Been a fan of your work for awhile now, stumbled across your website and I was hooked ! Just fantastic craftsmanship all round, looking forward to more.......... Lowlife ! ! PS.......Can you please update the website for those of us not on FB... .... Thanks
codie27 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Its kind of cheating when you take pics of a real car and describe them as a model!!! Lol....all jokes aside that is an awesomely clean build . Love it!!
microwheel Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Outstanding Steve, I love the plain simple look, it makes for one fine clean custom.
Impalow Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Thats just amazing! So clean and classy... Thank you for sharing your interior process with us, it was a huge help on my last build!
cartpix Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 At first, I thought the pictures were of a real car, you used for inspiration. Beautiful work. Very realistic.
Sixx Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Yeah Steve, you build some awesome models!!!!!! I love that Olds!!!!!! :-)
W-409 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Another true Masterpiece from your bench. Every time I see your post I can prepare myself to see some amazing work, but every time I'm completely amazed by your skills... This is not an exception, fantastic work and a very stylish Oldsmobile overall. I like how it looks as a Hard Top. If this thing doesn't win a prize at a show.... It must be so that prizes are not available at all.
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 (edited) I don't know what to say.....It's just beautiful! I usually don't comment on many customs on this forum just because, as a rule, they don't interest me. But, there's no ignoring this one! Steve Edited April 30, 2015 by StevenGuthmiller
Ron Hamilton Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Beautiful Job, but I expect no less from you. Have fun at Salt Lake!!!!

Ace-Garageguy Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 One of the all-time best pieces of 1:25-1:24 model-car work I've ever seen, period. Man, that is beautiful.
MAGIC MUFFLER Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Okay ….. now that one is slick!!!! Great work and good luck at the show..
