Im impressed with the build and VERY happy to see a two door sedan. Im very new to this (havent built a model in over 30 years) and a hot rod sedan is definitely on my list to build.

Thanks John - You should try to get your hands on the more recent Revell 32 Ford Sedan. It is an excellent kit for getting back into the hobby with two engine and wheel options and can be built full fendered or as a high-boy.

Thank you Phil. I did a little research on it, and a chopped sedan resin from Jimmy Flinstone exists, which would probably be my best bet because I not planning on using much other components.

Rarely do you see one of these built as beautiful as you have done … great job!!

Nice to see a fellow Victorian building too.  I'm coming home soon ( hopefully to live in Victoria once again )

Great job, Phil.  I remember having one of these when I was a kid. I fiddled, fiddled, and fiddled some more...

I think I finally had enough fiddling and blew it up with firecrackers.

Building it in 3 afternoons on a camping trip, I'd say the 32 Orange Crate turned out really nice.  Great looking little Hot Rod.  Love that orange.

Glad this one got a bump because it's a sight to behold. I'm sure many of us have the thought to build one of these with our modern skill sets. You have set the bar very high. Well done.

Nicely done! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks every one. I had not noticed that this had gotten bounced forward. As an update - at  Deuce Days in Scale 2016 I happened to be near the model when I saw a couple checking it out. I started telling them about the real Orange Crate when they told me they knew the story because they own the real thing and had recently flashed it up of the first time in years. Cool !! They ended up taking it to Santa Barbara for the first west-coast T.RO.G drags and giving it a good run. You can likely find a video of the on YouTube.
