Sixties Sam Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Very nice! Man, that's a LOT of foil work....and it looks good!Sam
Crusader101 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That is a beaut....very nice job Al.I'm going to have to save my pennies for this kit, did not know it was available.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 WOW, looks great!!!Super nice paint and foil.
Monty Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 The '67 Ford is one of my favorite 1:1 full-size cars, and although they seem to be rare, it's always nice to see a model of one built this nicely. Al, I love the paint color choice. Do you happen to have Testors' part number for that? I don't see it in their listings.
Porscheman Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Thank you again for the great comments on my Galaxy. The '67 Ford is one of my favorite 1:1 full-size cars, and although they seem to be rare, it's always nice to see a model of one built this nicely. Al, I love the paint color choice. Do you happen to have Testors' part number for that? I don't see it in their listings. Monty, The color is Testors Blaze Red, which is the almost an exact match to Candy Apple Red.Al
Sledsel Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Love it. Have never built a resin kit, but looks like I have to now.
Travis T Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I'm happy to see Motor City Resin has released this. My mom bought a 1967 Galaxie 500 hardtop in 1968 (her second car) and she still has it. Even has those wheel covers on it. Very nice build.
Al Hoffman Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 A really sharp, tight build. Like your idea on the Sharpie. I usually do my black vinyl with Testors chrome black but this sounds much quicker.
promoman Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 very nice. I learned to drive on a 67 Galaxie 500 4 dr
Chuck Most Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Nice!I'd be willing to bet it's a lot less shabby than the old R&R version.
charlie8575 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Wow, is that nice. The color looks good on it.Foiled bumpers? I'd have been very reluctant to try it, but you did a nice job on it.Hopefully you'll be at LIARS, Al, I'm toying with bringing my airbrush, compressor and Tamiya transparent blue. I need to learn that tinting technique. It's superlative. Either that, or, gee, maybe I'll have to stop into a TSMCC meeting some month. Only a few hours away....Charlie Larkin
