John Goschke Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Wow! I love this! Beautifully smooth fade painting.
bbowser Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I like them stock, but this is just outstanding! Really nice paintwork and stance.
TooOld Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Don't know how I missed this one , beautiful work James ! Definitely the nicest custom I've seen . Your paint and BMF look flawless . . . just curious why you didn't foil the bed rails ?
James2 Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 Thank you again. I can still do the rails, I was wondering if anyone noticed. My thought for not doing them was, it would be to much. Didn't want to be to busy I guess.
TooOld Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Thank you again. I can still do the rails, I was wondering if anyone noticed. My thought for not doing them was, it would be to much. Didn't want to be to busy I guess. First thing I noticed after admiring the overall look , but I've owned a couple of the real things so it was pretty obvious to me . Actually I think it looks fine with the rails painted instead of foiled .
Sixties Sam Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Nice! Great paint job. The pipes are cool, too! Great work!Sam
Tonioseven Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Beautiful work!! I saw this on Instagram yesterday!!
rmvw guy Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I like it a lot. Nice paint work. Beautiful custom.
DeeCee Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 SWEET paint job, perfect stance and those wheels really set it off, beautiful build mate..
carrucha Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Cool boulevard cruiser. You got all the components correct for a period correct 1960's custom. Good job!
W-409 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Great to see one of these being built! I have the same kit as well and it's going to be a Mild Custom one day when I find an AMT '59 El Camino chassis for it. You did an excellent job with this. That paint job is fantastic and very nice and clean work otherwise, too. Only thing I'd do different is that it's a bit too low to my taste. Otherwise it couldn't be much better.
Ferbz Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Very cool! I really like the fogged paint job.
disabled modeler Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Nice work James.... I have one myself I need to restore once I find another front bumper and grille part for it.
Greg Pugh Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 How the heck did I miss this!!?? Another beautiful build of yours James! I like your style!
