RAMBENNA Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 REVELL SnapTite 2014 Corvette just released, box says build time 30 minutes, about right. Painted mine TAMIYA TS-50 MICA BLUE. This will have to do until Revell or someone releases a glue kit.
Kennyboy Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Beautiful job on this Cliff!! The details are magnificent! I am working on one of these as well. Love what you did here!
Sean W Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Nice job Cliff. Snap tite or not it looks great. I love the new Stingray and this is a good replica.
peekay Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Beautifully built! Would never have guessed you used such a simple kit.
Nacho Z Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Now that is one great looking Vette! Doesn't matter that it is a snapper.
Tompidom Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Wow looking good! And Revell did not even mess up the wheel sizing this time! good job!
Len Woodruff Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Love the color. I am doing mine in Velocity Yellow. How did you paint the black inserts?
RAMBENNA Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Love the color. I am doing mine in Velocity Yellow. How did you paint the black inserts?Len, I used a .003 brush with MM Acrylic Semi-Gloss black and a ultra fine blace Sharpie for the edges
Speedfreak Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Cliff, your Vette looks awesome. Revelle did a nice job too.
MyBradKeselowski Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Beautiful Vette ! !Looks showroom new..
Drake69 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 It's hard to beat a great snap kit. Nice car!!!!
robertw Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 At least this kit is better then the promo of the same car. I wish they would supply water slide decals as well as the stick on vinyl that comes in the kit. I hope Revell does the conv as a full detail glue kit so that we can mix and match parts.BTW, strange little box but if you take the parts out you'll have to build it as I had a dickens of a time getting the parts back in the box !!
