BigBad Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) So, it's been a while since the last post, here is one I have finished not long ago. Freightliner FLC with some mild changes from the box, decals from Modeltruckin', photo etch parts like nameplates, flap weights, chicken lights and supports from KFS, drive tires from Auslowe, exhaust stand pipes from the Australian Western Star and sleeper from the FLD kit. The wheels of the Moebius trailer swtched to bigger Italeri rims and tires to better match the truck. most decals on the trailer also from Jerry Reeter. Spread axle with scratch built tool boxes, same flap weights as the freight. Color is Tamya pure white and Duplicolor Ford dark green. Edited August 22, 2015 by BigBad
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Very nice and clean build. Excellent work!!!
Superpeterbilt Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Wow! That is an excellent build. This has to be the best build of this kit I've seen to date. Great job
slusher Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Simply beautiful. Love the combo. Excellent work..
BigBad Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) Wow! That is an excellent build. This has to be the best build of this kit I've seen to date. Great job Those are excellent kits to start with! Everything fits! And also, the trailer is 4 inches wide, just like the tractor! It"s like they're meant for each other! gatorincebu Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Now that is a really sharp looking rig! And you photography in some of the pics really makes it pop. Well done! Be Well Gator
kilrathy10 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Now, that's what I'm talking about.....Awesome work.....As I had suspected, the swap of the stock wheels to an Italeri set, did the job.....Outstanding work....I've got a Volvo planned for one of these trailers.....Looks great with the spead, too.....May have to think about that one for myself.....Awesome work on the tractor, too....That is beautiful.....Gotta do that with my FLC.....Again, beautiful work.....

Just sayin'!

LineDigger87 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Nice Job!!! super clean and very realistic!!
Jim B Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Great looking combination. Your FLC looks really nice. Very well done.
vincen47 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I really like the aftermarket treatment. Nice job, and it looks good with the reefer. With this combo, the scale difference isn't an issue.
Rigzndiesel Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 This is a beautiful build! Both the tractor and trailer are really outstanding pieces of work! I enjoyed looking at them from front to back!Jeff
Old Albion Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Excellent Build! White is not a colour I would normally go for. But this looks perfect, well done.
SpreadAxle Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 That looks outstanding. The FLC was always a favorite of mine.
72 Charger Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I don't really like Italeri kits . But that is just great well done
Old Buckaroo Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Wow, with the right background I would really have to look to make sure this wasn't a real truck & trailer.I also have to say this is one of the nicest builds I have ever seen of this kit. All the extras really made it "pop" !
