jjsipes Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Here is the start of my 65 Satellite kit. Tamiya White Primer, Tamita TS-49 Bright Red and Model Master High Gloss lacquer clear. Interior is Model Master lacquer Italian Red and Flame Red with Tamiya Semi-Gloss Clear on the trim panels and Testors dullcote on carpet.
jjsipes Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Thanks guys. The paint job isn't to bad for not being polished out
chopper430 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) a good start on a great kit. Edited August 26, 2015 by chopper430
Atmobil Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 This looks very nice, it will be a joy to follow this build
Harry P. Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Love the interior. And your foil work is among the best I've seen. This should turn out to be a pretty impressive model.
mikemopar70 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Gorgeous, very cool color. Can't wait to see more....
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Wow!!! This makes me want to go buy one of these. Of course I would be disappointed because I would probably never make it look as good as this one. I have a soft spot for old Mopars!!! Nice work!!!
slusher Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Beautiful paint and foil. Nice touch on the two tone interior...
High octane Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Awesome lookin' job on that Satellite so far Jason, and of course I just love dem Mopars!
StevenGuthmiller Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Paint & foil look terrific!Great looking color for a rather ho-hum body style. Steve
hedotwo Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 While totally stock builds (least I'm guessing you're going that route) aren't usually my focus when I build, I do love lookin' at them. And yours appears to be heading towards a great build!
