cobraman Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 Thank you all so much for the kind words.
aurfalien Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) You know what?I bet if you made a resin copy of the body, you'd make bank off this site alone. You can market it as a transkit.I've found using the Super Casting Kit by Alumilite is very very easy. And if its easy for me, then for you its even easier!Plus Hobby Lobby coupons etc...You've potential here. Edited August 30, 2015 by aurfalien

tbill Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Ray, sweet combination you came up with, looks terrific!
unclescott58 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Not my cup of tea, looks wise. But, I'm very impressed with the job you did. Very nice.
cobraman Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Thanks. When I started I knew that not everyone would care for it. To be honest I myself am not all that fond of it. I don't believe you can improve on the looks of a stock Cobra. It was more just a strange idea I had and I wanted to see if I could pull it off.
PatW Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Very interesting and different, both good as well, very well done.I'm all for trying things out and I definitely don't have any problems adding parts and styles from any make of kit or car come to that.Great to see innovation and imagination.
landman Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 The end result came out nice , the idea was a total home run.Ditto on that.
Danno Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Nice, Ray! But, hey! Let's see the front end, too. Good job of blending two competing cars into one.
XJ6 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 At first I had to take a second look at it and Really to be Honest it Has a that Certain Flow to it that gives it the Character that it makes it very Interesting and with the color you chose it goes very nice with the curves on this body work sorta like a 250 Ferrari just comes to mind very creative work well beyond my scope ?Don aka XJ6?
cobraman Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 For those of you who requested a photo of the front, thanks.
unclescott58 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Naturally I like the front. And rear doesn't look too bad from the angle in the photo immediately shown above. I like I said before, not my cup of tea overall. But, I'm impressed enough with it to take a second look.
aurfalien Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Wow, even better! Come on man, come out with a transkit and sell it plz
