Nice idea! Q: are you using Fujimi tyres from a GT 40 kit?

I looked at those tires Dann before I started the project and they are too large.  I am using the tires from HRM's FIA Halibrand set.

Thanks, JC! they look great!, I Have a Fujimi Cobra, and amongst the other problems with the kit, the tyres in it are too narrow! Since owning/building ALOT of Fujimi kits, I thought all they're kits would be great.  NOT they're Cobra kits. Its a big let down. I will still build it later as a curbside build though. You are doing a Fantastic job on this car!!!!

Thanks for the kind comment gentlemen.  I am in the home stretch on this one but I can't figure out the decal that is just to the right of the Gulf sticker.  VRM didn't send along the placement legend.  Anyone recognize what it might be?  If you click on the photo you can see it in full scale.

JC,   not sure how accurate  this is,   but  this  is from   1/12  model factory hiro kit sebring version .  different  from side to side and that small  decal behind gulf would be a small cobra decal

I thought it looked like the Cobra logo but never seen one mounted there.  All the other logos placements agree with my reference so I think I will go with it.Thanks Bill!

Oh, that? It's a sticker meaning that the car passed technical inspection at Sebring that year. VRM sells those separately in their Number Circles & Things sheet (VRM-010).

That's a great picture Bill, I didn't have that one.  I think that maybe during practice, note the object (identification light?) mounted on the roll hoop.  I believe this photo is from the race and note it doesn't appear to have the Autolite or Goodyear stickers.

Looks like there maybe a little toy bear strapped to the base of the roll hop.

early  go pro  ?   good eye ,  also a looks like a goodyear decal missing on quarter panel  (race photo)  i would  say  maybe a different  race but  both  pictures  have the same white painted truck tire on in-feild

Thanks Maxx I think we got it figured out.  Here is a sneak peek.

your  cobra build is  looking  great !   love the old racing photos.  just think of the safety standards (there was none)  guy taking  photo must have been 5 feet from the race track!

I see he also ran the Blue Line tires. Do you plan to go that route?

No, I don't like installing decals on tires even hard resin ones.

Thank Shay.

I'm calling this one done.  I'll post better pictures "Under Glass" when I can take them under natural light.  Thanks everyone for following along.
