Bill...I love the old boxes too...reminds me of much better times as a kid and makes me smile just to look at them.

Meaning it they're not  at least 30 or 40 years old....they go in the trash can. I dont throw enough away as it is ,,and  keeping semi recent boxes and/or instruction sheets is just not possibile for me .

Ok it's settled.... all you guys can throw away all your instruction sheets and model boxes.  I'll continue to save mine, and you all can buy them from me 20 years from now!

I don't have much use for car-model instructions...other than for identifying some odd blob-shaped part that has no real 1:1 analog...but I tend to save 'em anyway, if for nothing more than to look at to determine exactly what parts came in what kits. I routinely rob kits for parts for other builds, and sometimes I need to find a source for something, if I didn't make notes in the build-box.

For subjects I'm unfamiliar with, the instructions can be very useful, like as in necessary. These I'll save until I finish the build, and since I never finish anything, they'll still be here after I'm dead.

Once I'm pushing up daisies, probably some delusional ebayer who snags my stuff at the inevitable estate sale will try to sell them all off for $9.99 each. ;)

Mike,

Thanks for the note.

And glad your happy with it.

I kept thinking I needed to keep it,,,,,,,but I bought a REALLY nice builtup with its original box off ebay last year or so and decided this one need to go away.

I also have 2 Mr Norms Chargers ( one is much better than the other ) and a decent Warlord Camaro builtup as well in case you know anyone interested

And thanks again,

Bill

I usually toss mine too, could always use them in the bird cage if you have birds. Or when you need to ship something model related to someone use them to pack the parts or kits... Just an idea!!

I was just thinking of this earlier, I keep mine as I make notes on them that I wanna save for a future kit, just in case I buy a double of one and need to refresh myself with any problems or details I wanna make on the next one.

And scaning them as a PDF is a good thing if you live in a limited space.

paper your hobby room wall with them

This. Or your paint shop, or basement, or a wall of the garage.

Or give them to youngsters to color.

Andy...Would be good to see your list of them I need a few old ones for mine.

I will make a list in the future. There are many to get together. I will probably make a new post for it.

If you know what you need, send me a PM, I may know off my head if they are there.
