Beautiful work!  I had one of these kits years ago, and never could quite get it to look right...so hats off to you for getting such great results from a very tough kit.  What color did you use for the silver?

Dann, another outstanding build, as attractive as the 1:1 DB5 (and certainly much better than the movie). IMO the most impressive picture is the shot through the sliding roof.

A great model :) I remember these being sold off cheap at a hobby chain in the UK, the standard kit without the trick parts was around double price. Was a Toyota convertible also produced?

Just wondered if anyone has built the 1/8 model. I recently saw a built up for sale, It came in about 100 weekly parts but also looked too tall.

Outstanding. Terrific attention to detail and an extremely clean model. If you add a black wash to those wheels you can make an excellent model that much better. ;)

thanx again everyone! Dyoshua did produce the Toyota seen in You only live twice, John Tee, but for some strange reason did it in 1/20 scale. I believe that Gunze Sanyo has it in 1/24, if you can find it.

Cheers, wish I had bought a couple now :) . Did see the Gunze kit a while back at a car show but it was a built up glue bomb so left it.
