rusty85 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) Or at least it will... The RX-Vision. No specs yet, other than it will be slightly bigger than the MX-5. Linky with more photos. Edited October 28, 2015 by rusty85
Crazy Ed Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Really Pretty car. Kinda makes me think of 60's Cheetah meets XK-E. But were I to bring back the Rotary it'd be as a Mid Engine, Devil may care all out Super Car that takes full advantage of the Wankel's light weight per HP. MPG - WHO Cares. Put something on the road that makes the likes of Ferrari and McLaren yell "What The Heck Just Happened"!. THEN come out with a "normal" Sports Car.
Miatatom Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 You read my mind, Ed! Cheetah, especially around the hip area.
djflyer Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Hot BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, a sports car that looks like one, and really not like much else on the road. The back end alone is worth the look - unlike the C5/C6/C7 that has never gotten it right.
MrObsessive Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Gorgeous!! Absolutely love the lines and proportions on this one! Nice long dash to front axle distance.........nice classic proportions that's lacking on way too many cars made today.
Roger U Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 It doesn't have those body creases or air ducts, or whatever they're called, so common these days. It's simple, sleek, and beautiful !!!
rusty85 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 I agree. If the production model ends up close to this they'll have another RX as timeless as the FD3S RX7.
angelo7 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) unlike the C5/C6/C7 that has never gotten it right. I thought I was the only one who noticed this about the back end on those Corvettes. Edited October 29, 2015 by angelo7
bisc63 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Ditto on the vette rearend - most all Chevy products since thr early 70s as far as I'm concerned.I can't help but imagine a team of designers sculpting a huge chunk of clay that was mistakenly parked against the back wall of the design studio. When they got to the back, they just didn't know what to do! I realize it's been a VERY long time since they used clay design models, but it's fun to dream...PS - The front-wheel-drive Impalas rear end really bothered me at the time of their arrival; just seemed so out of proportion...
