jhuntsman Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 The Merc is done! Here are some pics of the finished product. Enjoy and thanks for looking!
Foxer Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Looks like a homegrown garage gas ... creative!
Jantrix Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Wow, that is looking sharp. Very nicely done.
Jon Haigwood Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Having once owned a 49 and 50 Merc I know they are very heavy cars. Never thought of one as a Gasser but this works for me. Nice job.
351 cleve Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Turned out great!! I really like the aluminum piece you made for the hood...
MGL Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I'm suprised at how well the colors work together on this. Well thought out and nicely executed, great job!

1930fordpickup Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Jeff nice work. Thinking outside the box.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Very nice job! A different take on the Mercury, I like it!
rmvw guy Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Hope you had as much fun building this one as I am having looking at it. Nice one!
MAGIC MUFFLER Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 You pulled this one of very well - turned out really beautiful!!!!
W-409 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Excellent job on the Mercury! That paint scheme looks very good on it and those colors fit well together. Engine detailing is done beautifully, too. Especially fuel lines on the Hilborns look very good. Only problem is that you will need to add a rear bumper (or a push bar) and lights for this one to make it Gas-legal. If I remember correctly, you'll need a radiator, too. But overall a very nice build.
