Here is a fun little Beetle I just completed. Features a scratchbuilt roof rack, "bagged" suspension, modified stock steelies with stretchwall tires, photo etch headlight visors, custom decals, scratchbuilt console basket, photoetch plate toppers & of course the fun patina paint. Here are a few photos of the console basket.  I used some leftover pieces from Wildhare Models' shopping cart kit.

engine before body covered most of it up.  Stock, just with some plug wires, dirt & a cool sticker

OUTSTANDING!!  how did you "pit" the chrome?

Thank you!! I learned that from Dr. Cranky of course.  He did a youtube video on it where you basically just do a burst shot of dull coat.  & then for the rust, did the same with red primer.

Very cool and g. at build. Where did you get the soda bottle...

Thanks Slusher. That bottle came out of the cooler set from Orange Wheels/Asuka Models.
