Here is my first model. It is a Tamiya Full View model. Very detailed and very intricate. Had a blast building this.

Just finished about two days ago.

Please enjoy!

Thank you guys!

Indeed it is my first one. Huge fan of the Japanese sports cars.

I immediately got another one, because I enjoyed this one so much. I just started a Revell Datsun BRE 280Z

I did however learn that applying decals can be quite the challenge.

Looks very nice. Glad you're enjoying this hobby. I have yet to build a Tamiya kit, but , if they're anything like the rest of thier products, should be great.

Choosing that kit as your first build was a ballsy move, but it looks like you succeeded in getting it together nicely.  Just a word of warning:  Tamiya makes well-engineered kits that go together like you'd expect, while that decades-old Revell kit may surprise you with part fit issues.

I see one builder has already warned you about the suspension height and what to watch for when attaching the rear panel. You may want to ask about other "issues" and solutions so you don't get surprised.

Lastly, welcome to our board!  It's always nice to see new, enthusiastic people join us in this hobby.

Tamiya makes well engineered everything. One thing that helped the most was my RC car knowledge. I have been building and racing RC's for 20 yrs...
