1930fordpickup Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Have not seen one of these in a long time.
vintagedragcrazy Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 That's a pretty cool kit what nice is it has the regular nose also so you can build it either way.vince
Sledsel Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Imagine the backlash if they made an Obama funny car?
migace Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 "Runs every four years" all those quotes on the box are hilarious ?
Daddyfink Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) I have on in my stash and it is a really weird little deal. I think it was normally a Monza Funny with the addition of the nose piece to make it more "Carter" like. Edited December 27, 2015 by Daddyfink
skymnky721 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Fun,,Fun ,,Funn,,gonna have to get that one

62rebel Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 all they did was add a "face" and decals to an existing kit; if you think THIS is amazing you should have seen what the model railroading industry was churning out during his term. BTW change the shade of paint and leave the engine out for an Obama version

stavanzer Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I wonder if "This" tooling still exists? That 'Face' nosepiece would Make for a great conversation starter.
JTalmage Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Man, thats creepy. I'd have to toss the nose piece out just because I wouldnt want to stumble across it each time I dig thru my parts box, because it would creep me out each time!
Dave Van Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I still have mine....mint condition. The 'mouth' is not only a different plastic it looks like it may have been a epoxy mold or maybe aluminum .....other short term use tooling.....so it may have been tossed years ago.
Craig Irwin Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 ....so it may have been tossed years ago. We can only hope....
Daddyfink Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I'm just glad his brother got a more normal kit!
Chuck Most Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 One of the local shops had one of these, factory sealed, for years on the shelf- I think they were asking 35 bucks for it. Never got it. Wish I had, could have done a troll face drag car.
horsepower Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 We can only hope... They should have kept it and molded it in glow in the dark plastic. Would have been a great Cheshire cat funny car, "bnothing but the smile"
