ViperDave Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) Not bad for 2 weeks of work. Edited March 26, 2008 by ViperDave
dub Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 As always, great work Ted! This is really sweet! As a VW guy, I have to say I don't really care for the New Beetles, but you buried enough of the original car that I don't care anymore! Is that a Mustang (Mach III with windshield?) interior I spy? It fits well. Again, terrific job and thanks to Dave for sharing the pics with us.
RodneyBad Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Awesome Bug.. never seen anything like that Love how it all blends together. Smooth as silk. ScaWeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raul_Perez Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Very nicely done!! The color choices are GREAT!! Thanks for sharing!
Zoom Zoom Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Kewl. I see Beetle, Mach III, and Chrysler Atlantic. And it all works harmoniously Would be interesting to see it with "drivable" rolling stock.

If you know anything about "Chopper" you know that this is just par for him. He sure has a touch with the airbrush and the way he can sand and rub out paint jobs. He has taken quite a few "Best Paint" awards. I have taken a few of them but since we go to a lot of shows together I don't have much chance. Who would know that when we showed him how to use the airbrush we would have to take a back seat to his paint jobs. Oh well, I will just have to go for the "Best Engine" and "Best Interiors" awards.
Tom Kren Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Another one out of the park! Great job, Chopper does some way cool things WAY TO GO!!!
Trans Am Erik Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 WOW!!!! Nice job on the Bug Ted. Superb bodywork, it looks fluid (like the body was poured on the car). I'm looking forward to seeing this one in person.
slant6 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Love it. Im a huge VW fan, and also hate the New Beetle. Yours looks excellent. Im gonna post some pix of the 66 Beetle I just finished right when Im done here. Again great job, wish I could do that.
