Porscheman
This came the day after Christmas and I love it. I painted it Tamiya black and going to do the interior in Tri-color red and white. The wheels are fantastic 4 piece replicas.I Alclad mine with aluminium to give it contrast to the trim ring and center cap. The glass is strange, the trim is only on the top and the sides, the bottom trim is on the body. Thanks for looking Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Edited January 4, 2016 by Porscheman

StevenGuthmiller
Looks like a very nice kit! I'm surprised that these are the first pics we've seen of the kit. I thought a couple of guys, with inside connections, had this one some time ago. Mine is on it's way as we speak! I may have to interrupt my "annual building" to do this one! I've been wanting to do a '61 Pontiac in "Dawn Fire Mist" for a long time! This is my chance! Steve
bisc63
Can't wait to see what you do with this kit! Going to grab a couple for myself.Steve, that color is just beautiful!
Greg Pugh
I have loved what Moebius has brought to the model building world but I do wish they'd make life just a bit easier when it comes to the glass on their kits.
gtx6970
It just hit me on this car and the 65 Plymouth ,,,,,,,so the glass glues on from the exterior of the car. ? doesnt that make it extremly tedious to attach without signs its glued inwhat about cleaning paint off the body where it attaches , does it show ? Is the rear glass the same way ? Just seems like it making it harder for the next generation to enjoy .I guess I need to get these 2 kits and see for myself

Erik Smith
Paint looks awesome, Al. Nice to see somebody getting it and throwing down right away!Question about the wheel - I was a little skeptical when I saw the version in the pre-review of the kit, and I am not sure about them now. Are yours assembled completely? It looks like the brake drum is too far back and the flat spots where the wheel rim bolts to the drum aren't lined up. I think it's a great idea, just not sure about them...Thanks for the WIP!
louie
Oh wow, that is one nice kit. Thanks for sharing some pictures with us. Also want to say thank you to Moebius for another great kit. Thanks. Jeff
MrObsessive
Paint job looks super great! Just an observation though as I barely have gotten into the nuts and bolts of my kit yet...................... Shouldn't the lug nuts line up with the "circles" on the brake drum? That might be what's contributing to the "far away" appearance of the drum. This kit is so nice that I might clear the bench after my '59 Impala build, and dig right in! Porscheman
A little update. Chassis is done and I did a test fit of the body to check out the stance. The stance looks great to me. Thanks for following. Al Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

timc
Did you or anyone else that has the kit notice that there are two sets of front spindles provided. One looks to me like it might set the front a little lower. I'm going to find out how to flip them when I get to that point on mine. I want the front of mine lower. Good looking paint. I'm going with testor one coat raven black for mine with trip tone grey interior. Edited January 1, 2016 by timc

Porscheman
Interior is done. The interior bucket fits perfect at the top doors. I chose the bench seat, but bucket seats are an option. I used white electric tape for the white set inserts and dark Merlot for the other insert.
