PhilX Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Here is my Renault Vivastella, a 1/24 kit by Heller : 5
GeeBee Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Very nice build, I did have that model many years ago, but sold it on, seems a shame now, seeing how it come out ....
bbowser Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Well done! I've been eyeing one of these on eBay, kinda like a French deuce coupe
Harry P. Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I'm impressed. Very sharp and clean. A great looking model!
Harry P. Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 kinda like a French deuce coupe Exactly what I was thinking!
Tom Geiger Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Heller kits are a best kept secret. Very nice kits and a super build!
Chillyb1 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 You've proved conclusively that those Heller kits of classic French subjects can, in the right hands, be built into very fine models. They do repay a modeler's patience. I love the colors you've used. Tres bien fait, mon ami.
Atmobil Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Beautifull work you have done on this one. Absolutley great.
PhilX Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Thank you all Perhaps, you are right : The Deuce seems to be an American Vivastella Chillyb1 : Merci, mon ami
Balsa Manufaktur Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Lovely. I could not find this version however, a Vivastella Cabrio ... nor photo either blueprints
PhilX Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) I think the blueprints were destroyed when USAF bombed the Billancourt Factory during WWII. This kit can be find on E-Bay from time to time. On the other hand Heller re-born 2 or 3 years ago with a new team and beside new models they reissue gradually their old kits. Not yet the Renault Vivastella, but I think it will be soon http://www.heller.fr/en/maquettes/66-scale-cars-model-classic Edited January 8, 2016 by PhilX
Balsa Manufaktur Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Wow .. I had a look: Beautiful ... in the end I will restart to build also "readymade" models and not only mine in Balsa Wood
Kenmojr Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 Watched this video last night of an unboxing of this kit.
Zippi Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I can only echo what others have said. Just a great looking build.
