Zarana-X Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Great work and attention to detail. The body seals and bumpers really sell it.I like seeing these with proper wheels and stickers on them.
Roger U Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Really nice model. The exterior/weathering, the interior, the engine, everything is amazing.
iamsuperdan Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 That is fantastic! Would love to see your take on a matching VW bus!
GeeBee Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Superb build, and very realistic weathering, Love it ...
Grumpa Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 WOW....you really captured the patina of a car that's been around the block a few times, and yet is still able to pull-off some newer upgrades without having to go through a complete re-build. Nice work Stefan!
DumpyDan Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The photo's are so good, oh ya the VW is really cool to LOL
crazyrichard Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 dude > taking my hat off !!! whow thats stunning work ..most realistic scale beetle i ever saw .. the patina is soo convincing .. it all just screams realism ...if you would take pics of this one outdoors in the right setting ... you couldnt tell its a model
jhuntsman Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Looks good, would look great if it was shiny instead of rusty.
Davewilly Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Very cool Beetle! There was one looks just like your model that is for sale here...Wish I had the 2k cause thats a great price for a 1:1 that runs and has a clean title.
StefanH. Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Thank you so much guys! I really appreciate your kind words. When l'm back on my computer I can share some WIP-pics. (right now I'm using my tablet)
Lordmodelbuilder Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Beautiful build! Looks so real. Love the weathering! Are those BRM wheels available online?
StefanH. Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Looks good, would look great if it was shiny instead of rusty. Nice! I miss the Cal Bug days! It supposed to become a clean Callooker with Fuchs-rims, but the paintwork didn´t turned out well. So I lowered and weathered it. Beautiful build! Looks so real. Love the weathering! Are those BRM wheels available online? Check out: http://motohashi-mww.com/ Here are some WIP pics: Edited January 29, 2016 by StefanH.

Tom Geiger Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Looks good, would look great if it was shiny instead of rusty.Convincing and realistic rusty is much harder to do than shiny.
