It's getting time to beat up and weather this trailer. If it's not beat up, it can't be Rockford's trailer. Trouble is, I'm having trouble getting up the courage to weather it.

You have pics of the new trailer safe here now, so let the weather begin! :)

It would be cool if you have photos of the 1:1 you can post here for us all with bad memories to see. ;)

and ...  it does look awesome now ... I can understand your reluctance to dirty it up, but it will look "better" once done.

The lawn furniture may be the tough part. That's going to be fun raining on that.

I've already done the lawn furniture frames in brass, just need to add the webbing.

Go for it. It is looking good.

I often wondered when I used to watch the show of how he was able to park it in a parking lot with power and water and sewer connections. I guess that was the wonders of TV.

Tom.... That is AWESOME...!!!!   I have always wanted to build a mobile home trailer but believe its out of my skill level plus its too hard to find supplies to try here that one can afford too...awesome work I understand your reluctance to weather it looks great like it is...:)

Ah.. what lawn?
Seriously tho, the build looks GREAT!  Weather away or build a second. Otherwise it won't be correct, right?

Very nice Tom. What did you use for the siding ?

.040 Styrene with a .125 Spaced V-Groove Design from Evergreen Scale Models. Manufacturers' number 4125. I was going to scribe them, but the grooves on this styrene sheet were almost a perfect match, so I used them. I don't get that lucky with models very often.
