PatW Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) Cheers guys, yes I've just included the sandy/muddy tyre effect on this and a previous Sand Crab Dune Buggy. It's just very fine sand (the type they use on laying block paving driveways) with a drop of white glue brushed on first. This was my inspiration,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Edited February 22, 2016 by PatW
PatW Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 Thanks Gergo K, yes seeing the above picture inspired me to have a go, being an age old owner driver of Beetles. I'd only wish we had a large area of off-road terrain here in the UK to drive them on!
Speedfreak Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Very nice Pat! I like it a lot. Great colours, and effects. Nice job on that frame too. It looks right at home in your dio.
PatW Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Thanks Ray & Gene, I always try to do something different!
