Porscheman Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I bought this at a swap meet at the Jersey Shore MCC last Friday night. It is a very clean and scratch free model. I primed it Testors white lacquer primer and then painted the lower part of the body testors Tropical Turquoise. I then sprayed Testors Wet Look Clear over the primer white top and the turquoise lower body. I polished out both sections with Novus #2 to a mirror finish. I tint the glass with 5 very light coats of Tamiya Clear Blue. AMT Part Pak Firestone Wide White were used along with a a Modelhaus front bumper. I'm still waiting on fender ornaments, but I'm calling this one done. Thanks for looking. Ron Hamilton Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Very nice!!! I have one of those to do myself.
Sixties Sam Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Very nice restoration! Perfect color choice, and well done! I built that kit in the 1960's and redid it a few years ago in black and white, and added a resin continental kit and a pair of chrome skirts.Sam Edited February 27, 2016 by Sixties Sam
