Finished this one up this morning. Fit was pretty good until I got to where I had to fit the body to the chassis. That was a bit rough. I striped some of the chrome. The body needed a lot of clean up . Actually could have used more. Looked good in primer but showed some spots that could have used more work when I hit it with the dark color. Color is Root Beer. Made a distributor and coil ( don't laugh ). The interior is done in Ivory. I used black flocking on the interior and self stick felt in the trunk area. I wired the battery in the trunk. The stock roll bar was way under size so I made one from plastic tubing. All in all I think it turned out ok, not great but ok. Comments pro or con are always welcome.

Great color. Nice work.

One tip on the mold lines coming back. After you sand them brush over the aeea with liquid glue like testors. Then resand. This process keeps the mold lines from reappearing when you shoot the color coat.

Wow, very nice. I love that color scheme...I've looked at a can of it at Hobby Lobby several times but never could decide...looks like I'm gonna need to pick one up and find something to paint root beer.

That came out really nice Ray, I really like the color combination.  Hopefully it motivated me to get started on mine.  Thanks for sharing the build.

Never been a big fan of the "blacked out" look but HEY it's a Cobra , they look good in any color !

I also really like the Root Beer paint , great looking Cobra !

A cobra looks great in any color. Nice build, I too like the color choice, welcome change from Blue. Makes me want to slide in and flip the switches. Thanks for sharing.

Nice!

Not sure about a "root beer" colored Cobra, though.

But then again, I used pretty much the same color on a Jaguar...

I guess we're both crazy!
