Ack! Ack-ack! Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I think hitherto there was no model of a MAN truck in this forum. MAN (abbreviatoin of Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg AG, now together with Scania belonging to Volkswagen) is Europe's second-largest manfacturer of medium and heavy trucks and buses behind Mercedes. Its history is equally impressive, since Rudolf Diesel was working for MAN when he developed the Diesel engine and the direct injection as well. Though this MAN is one of the first Italeri truck kits it has the typical high Italeri quality. The multi-piece cab is not that easy to build but the finished model looks very realistic. I think there was a reissue some years ago. The Italeri trailer is long out of production. The Italeri crane is well-made but needs some extra detailing.
