Mercelo Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Hi men, nothing too schmancy here, just a bit of engine detailing. I was trying to get the correct color, but it ended up a bit too orangee, but what the hey.....it's a model after all. It sits kind of low in the back... But for this style of classy muscle car, l thought it suited it rather well. I hope you like it.
Aaronw Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Nice job all around and the color combo is very striking.
landman Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 great built, I chose in my buick same colorX2,although my engine is nowhere as nice as yours.
Hubert Rollins Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Great model!!! Awesome color- looks like it's ready to pounce!!!
TooOld Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Super nice ! Your detailing is nice and sharp , especially the engine . . . great job !
Intmd8r Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Looks perfect!Don't see many of these - either in scale form or the real deal.Good job.
Fanof69 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) Beautiful Buick!! Love the color. Question about the tire lettering. Did you paint those or are they decals? I really like the way those look with the white outlined lettering. Edited May 4, 2016 by Fanof69
Chuckyg1 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Really sweet looking build. This is on my to do list. After seeing yours, I may have to bump it up. Great job!
Mercelo Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 Beautiful Buick!! Love the color. Question about the tire lettering. Did you paint those or are they decals? I really like the way those look with the white outlined lettering.Hi Terry, l painted the outlined white letters. They were raised up nicely, so it was easy to do. I like the look of them as well. Thank you for your compliments .
Snake45 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I think this is the first time I've seen this model built with the correct yellow around the hood scoops, so big props from me on that! (Trying to figure out how to actually do that is what has kept my own painted, polished-out kit on my "Shelf of Doom" for over a decade, now.) Well done and model on!
Ulbo Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Looks awesome. I admire your paint job and especially work with letters on tires
