Paint job isn't anything special, but the decals where fun to do. Hi Bruce! Well, your friend must be a "happy customer"... Looks great! CT

I painted her pearl white. With the stock decals. I just saw so many ivory white builds I had to change it. Not correct at all but the kit is sooo far off it really doesn’t matter. A friend said give the kit a break , it’s 55 years old. He’s right. Here it is completed, outside pic. 5
VanGoGo Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Red isn't really my favorite color, but I thought it looked good on this Trans Am 5

Spooker Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Pretty happy with the paint on this AMT '66 Buick Modified Stocker. Tamiya Green and Yellow out of the spray cans, MCW Lime thru my airbrush, first use of the air brush in 20 years. Kit decals and Future. A little "battle damage" on the nerf bars. Will post more of this one in Under Glass soon. 1

Exterior paint is lacquer, gloss black on top and candy tangerine fades over slightly orange tinted white pearl: Mesmerizingly beautiful 1

SpikeSchumacher Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Love the GTO, and 51(?) Chevy convertible! Those Pegasus Torq thrust "T" wheels look good on just about anything. 😉
Claude Thibodeau Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Hi George! Great production, bravo! If I may: what is this spectacular bright green on the Galaxie? It works! CT

Dtimmerman89 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I am more of the flat and patina/weathering builder, but the 2k clear stuff I do is stunning. Here are some of my favorites.
Tyreman Posted May 6 Posted May 6 The only model i have finished...this was extreme...sanding the body before primer...then wetsanding and polishing the paint....i was going to clear coat it and thought why bother? this is very smoke and mirrors this in that i used one of the best camera lenses ever made and of course it was the golden hour! 3
