jjsipes Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Looks great. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. I built one the other year and had to paint all the colors on it. Did you or were you able to get the Slixx decals?
AC Norton Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 very, very, nice build here , Roger....one of the nicest early pro stock Mopars in my book......terrific work....best,,,the Ace....
10thumbs Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Well done Roger. I saw over on the "Show us your Mopars" thread you have a great collection.
gtx6970 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Outstanding. I assume the sides are decals and top artwork is paint ?if so what colors did you use ,,it looks like it matches the side pretty well
caine440 Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Thank you all for the comments. My first try was with paint but the blue cracked and crazied badly. This one is slixx decals with testors Hemi Orange on dupli-color medium blue BFM0382.It took a bunch of micro set to get the decals the behave but overall I happy with how it turned out.I will say fitting the chassis into the body on this kit is quite a chore as it fits real tight.Again, thanks for the kind words.
