Greg Myers Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Just thought I'd share this with you, No, I'm not bored.
62rebel Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I wonder where the tooling for those cars went.... replace that PRV engine and it'd be a darn sight more reliable and practical. They're actually quite attractive cars.
sjordan2 Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 A new entity of the Delorean Motor Company has been established in Texas and has over a million spare parts from the Irish plant. Currently, they restore and remanufacture existing cars, but they plan to make new ones when they can pin down an appropriate engine supplier. They say they hope to have new models in 2017.
MrObsessive Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I'd love to see a full detail kit of the original Delorean, but I'm resigned to the fact that it'll probably never happen.

Anxiously waiting for this to happen I'd love to see a full detail kit of the original Delorean, but I'm resigned to the fact that it'll probably never happen. Looking forward to this as well.
Petetrucker07 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Great Scott. Someone had to say it. This is heavy!
Tom Geiger Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 End of shift traffic jam at the Delorean factory?A new entity of the Delorean Motor Company has been established in Texas and has over a million spare parts from the Irish plant. sjordan2 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I would add "new car smell" to the positives, but I lived in Houston for 15 years and that amounts to mildew.
slusher Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I'd love to see a full detail kit of the original Delorean, but I'm resigned to the fact that it'll probably never happen. That would be cool..
Tom Geiger Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 and not made by a former GM engineer / executive. no complimentary white powder in the glove box?
Renegade Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 That's the white line down the center of the road. A Delorean has sprung a leak.
oldcarfan Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Maybe Delorean'll be like Avanti. They kept making them for years after Studebaker went away.
ChrisBcritter Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 The photo of all the Deloreans reminds me of the "Back to the Pilot" episode of Family Guy: "Stop! We're from the future!" "Stop! We're from the further future!" "Stop! We're from the further, further future!"
GT4494 Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 no complimentary white powder in the glove box? Best pic ever was in Car and Driver ( I Think I have the right mag). It was a Delorean with a "Things go better with Coke" bumper sticker on the back.
John Goschke Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Kinda looks like the registration line for the "Most Boring Car Show, Ever!"
Tom Geiger Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Kinda looks like the registration line for the "Most Boring Car Show, Ever!"To us! They're all excited about things like, "Oooooh! You have the rare type two cigarette lighter!"
